Tickle-heads (The ASMR Community)

Karuna Satori is probably the closest thing to an ASMR cow. She's all about calling her subscribers and viewers her "family" and gets them to call her Mom, includes a blurb in all her video descriptions about how her channel is a "safe space", apparently makes Amazon wishlists for toys for her children and asks her subscribers to buy up the lists, and is extremely open about making porn "ASMR" videos for Patreon (she also includes a blurb in all her descriptions advertising her NSFW ASMR channel on Patreon).
Considering that a lot of ASMR content creators condemn the practice of sexualizing ASMR (since a common misconception is that it's supposed to be sexual or arousing), it's a pretty big no-no to openly advertise videos where you make deepthroat sounds or whatever.
She's also one of those white-trashy people who is super into crystals and Buddhism and sage and shit. It's a popular video theme since it involves little to no effort and people seem to like it, but Karuna legitimately seems to believe in it.

There’s a screenshot floating around from her Patreon where she tells her loyal paypigs that she recorded her and her (soon to be ex) husband, who’s also an “ASMR artist”, fucking. Can’t find it from mobile.
She used to be a heroin addict or something and is on methadone, started her Patreon to fund some ‘dental work’ for her methy teeth, and got a boob job.
I know a lot of ASMR youtubers are weirdos but theres weirdo and then there’s prime beef.

Honestly her setup is not good either. I've tried some of her videos and she keeps pulling out some fucking whiteboard to play teacher and yammering on and on and on and on and on about meaningless shit. Honey, if you want to just be a vlogger, go for it. I've no idea why she is so popul...oh wait. Breast massage ASMR videos. Deepthroat ASMR videos. Husband-wife sex ASMR videos. Never mind, got it.

It is not a fetish, but some asmr "artists"(actually camwhores camwhoring without nudes) treat it as such, and their videos are watched for 1000 reasons, but not ASMR

There are real lolcows in the community like Tony Bonboni(or whatever his name is now).

But there are also great people like Ephemeral Rift or Gentle Whispering, whoose videos I've been watching every day since 2012 when I was first introduced to ASMR.

I watched a few videos and they kind of annoyed me. Whispering and tapping in particular drive me nuts. I guess I don't get it. But there are some that are really weird.

Thank you for this man, I've never really seen an active ASMR channel that didn't suck completely (haven't really been looking). If only he could stop smacking his mouth whenever he tries to do inaudible talk or whatever he calls it...

One of my personal favorites is Luo Dong, who's a 60 year old Chinese man from NYC who offers free massages and posts them all to YouTube. He gets a lot of flak for getting grabby with women but honestly he does the same with men. I think he's on like his fourth account by now, lol.

There's a big religious aspect to what he does, he says he went to Taiwan and learned massage there. He calls himself a "33 sky chi master", that he can put heat into people's body and even heal them by massaging a picture of someone on his computer. Every time he massages someone he says "no sex, no wine, no smoking". I'm really not sure what all overlaps between his own philosophy and typical Taoism but he's certainly an interesting character.

I like asmr a lot, since it helps me to fall asleep.

I've heard that a girl got harassed and decided to delete her channel, no too long ago. I think she was called jellybean, or something?
Another girl Whose video I had in my suggested, despite the fact that I've never seen her videos, said she deleted her channel, because her bf found out she was doing these videos and got weirded out, so she decided to break up with him.


I've also heard that an asmr artist called cherrycrush, does porn videos on pornhub, but I don't know whether it's true or not.

Man, sounds like there are a lot of interesting and weird people, in this community...

JellybeanASMR did a Patreon where she offered screenshots that... well I never saw them, but they were close enough to softcore porn that you could call them that. They began to circulate and she got harassment, so she closed her channel, deleting a few videos that she thought were a bit too fetishistic. Recently she made a new ASMR video so IDK if she's back or not.
