Yeeeah, I remember reading the whole series..that twist was pointless and jarring, and then his random bizarre universe-ending/story-ending twist where the MC goes forward in time and ends up dying. For no decent reason mind you, just to kill the story.
Then reboots the whole thing later as a superhero comic, also for no explicable reason.
Does Buckly had ADD when it comes to storytelling or something? I mean why make it a superhero story when your last incarnation after the reboot was "Game Piece Incarnate: The Comic"?

I wouldn't put it past him, having a place somewhere on the ADD/ADHD spectrum, considering his stories used to jump all over the place (and only occasionally remember that there was a main plotline). He probably should just have stuck to the two-gamer-guys-and-couch thing he started of with.

he should have just made it a one-off or a series that didn't last as long, at least.

Didn't he also follow that more recently popular trend of webcomickers making a mini-comic every so often as well as their main story?

Why does this lil guy look like a Buckley character:

It's been ten years and at some point in recent time Buckley edited the Loss comic to "Found" in his own website without telling anyone so it's not known when he did it. I only found out because of a 10 year anniversary of Loss thread on /v/. It's quite sinister now.

The rest of the miscarriage storyline is intact https://cad-comic.com/comic/waiting/
He could have made both characters in the final panel grinning while looking at viewer as some 4th wall breaking gotcha, but instead he just made it look creepy. Truly Buckley is genius of storytelling.

You just know that with his sense of humor he found his edit the height of comedy.

Yep, would have been 260% better if it looked like she was in on the gag:

Also I think he edited the loss comic last year, on the 9th anniversery. Goddammit is his goal to get everything just slightly wrong?
