Doesn't sound so pretty now, does it? Same concept, really. If anything, Fuckley proves that mixing video games with politics can in fact turn you into a violent idiot, just like mixing gun ownership with politics.

Did he seriously ever thought that the picture would actually hurt the image of gamers who do not want to kill people in real life?? If he wrote that last sentence on purpose for the sake of humor, I'm pretty sure the only laughs are the laughs of people who see the idiocy in that comic page.

Yeah, replace "PvP" with "Tim Buckley" or "CAD" and it can be summed up rather nicely.
 
His laziness with his comics is really irritating. Takes away any liveliness his comic COULD have had, but everyone looks stiff as a board and flat as one too. That is not even touching on what else is wrong/bad about his work (everything).
 
I still can't believe this abortion of a web comic got an animated series.

From what I've read (I will have to find a source on this), he funded the purchase of this from money he'd "raised for charity".

Also, I love how he rebooted his comic and somehow made it WORSE than it already was. That is an achievement in itself.
 
Fuck. I used to have an entire folder of retarded shit he's done, and misscarrage jokes. Lost it ALL on sunday when I accidentally my backup.

Speaking of his reboot, just gotta love how he ended the comic's main cast, have Ethan erased from existance, leaving the only people who cared for him to weep, have his roomate name his son after the now dead protagonist, let the robot integrate in society, and his girlfriend finding a religion named after him. If the reboot is even worse, than are the new characters even worse than the anti-sue protagonist?
 
Even better, the ad on the site for the iPhone app still tells you that you can "take Ethan with you", as opposed to updating it for the new bland quartet. Unless they mean baby Ethan.

The "new characters", from what I know, weren't entirely new. He used them a few times in comics where he wanted characters to interact violently with one another. They're very creatively called "Player One", "Player Two", "Player Three" and "Player Four". They're different colours and have numbers on their shirts in case you could forget such creative names.
 
Gotta ask... if this guy has such horrible comics and you don't like them, why obsess over him? Buckley doesn't have much of a presence outside his own website. If you're not actively seeking him, he's pretty ignorable, unlike for example Justin Beiber.

I'm not Buckley's biggest fan, but I can't see how he's worth the level of venom that gets spewed in his direction.

I don't really know but I'm guessing it's due to how he's ban-happy on his forum if you criticized his web-comic along with being a possible pedophile and being a lazy artist. Still,I'm guessing some people, despite hating his web-comic, read CAD solely out of bile fascination, just seeing the terrible artwork and reading memorable pages such as the miscarriage page. I'm also sure that some obsess over him just to see what sort of lulzy things occurred to him such as his reactions to pedophilia accusations.

Same could be asked for a lot of "lolcows", to be honest.

Like a few of them I follow, I just find what he does fascinating, in a bad way. It's like a car crash.
 
Buckley, along with most people that have topics about them in this subforum, are not really lolcows. I am not sure whats up with all the Alogging at Buckley, just don't read his lame comic. Sure he's an asshole, but so is most of the internet. Chris didn't become a lolcow because he has a shitty comic and because he's dislikeable.
