Watching Tim Pool on the Joe Rogan Experience earlier this evening was just plain bad, especially considering Rogan seems to allow Pool to say stuff that is outright BS at times, or even agrees with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs_mDpIkUOY

There was a moment when Tim was going off about something related to atmospheres and their composition as it relates to alien technology (??) when Joe cuts him off with "Ok Stop" said in the exact same tone I do every time I try to watch one of Tims videos for more than 3 minutes.

The exceedingly bad part is where he starts talking about Sargon and the twitter law hoe tells him what Sargon said be be banned and it is him calling someone a k*ke or a n*gger or something comparable to that.

Perhaps Tim will become a Kiwi

To be fair a lot of this episode is them talking about aliens neither of them are hardly going to produce proof.

The talk about aliens and seed of humanity never really bothered, as I found it to be a far fetched, but interesting concept. The parts that aggravated me due to the bullshit were the more political topics that have been easily disproved when one does a google search.

So, this episode is a gem.

6:25 - Tim talks about a traveling couple who told him about taking a motorcycle trip through North Korea. And he says "They showed us how pretty the country was, or I shouldn't say the country, because Korea is the country, they're just split, because they're in wars and stuff".

You fucking WHAT, mate?

Tim is...I think he said he was 33 or something? Definitely no older than 39. The Korean War ended in 1953, at least thirty years before Tim was born. And he's saying that oh no, Korea is the country, they're just split right now. This motherfucker sounds like China talking about how Tibet and Taiwan are part of the mainland even though that's not what any of the affected people want. He's out here in the states, miles away from either nation, talking about how these vastly different nations with total ideological separation are actually just one tribe having a tiff.

I just can't believe any rational adult would say something like that off-hand, correcting himself as if it's "taboo" to refer to North Korea as its own country.

I don't think anyone has claimed Tim was intelligent.

He's an inarticulate sped doing a bad job of explaining his point (and God only knows about the fucking traveling motorcycle trip story), but technically the Korean War has not ended, it's been under a perpetual armistice agreement since 1953 and there hasn't been a formal peace treaty between the two governments, as neither is willing to admit they don't have sovereignty over the entire peninsula. They've made peace with other major combatants (SK signed a peace treaty with China, for example), but not each other. That's why South Korea whines about Norks violating the armistice agreement whenever Piggy Boi decides to lob missiles around.

Where he gets the idea its 'taboo' to refer to either as a formal country, I'm not sure, because for everyone who isn't a geopolitics wonk, they're functionally equivalent to separate countries instead of one country in a civil war, and no one is going to give you shit for calling them as such.

My guess is that his korean grandmother (he's mixed race you know, man!) would drill the one nation - two governments thing into him anytime it was brought up in the house.

On a side note, while double checking to make sure his mother was the Korean parent, I found that he mentioned she has a youtube channel as well:

JoAnn’s story

JOANN'S SCHOOL·TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2020·
Hello everyone! My name is Joann and I have a YouTube channel, "JoAnn's School".
I grew up in the Midwest, spending most of my life in the Chicago area. I've always loved dogs and have had many furry best friends throughout my life. (I lost my Barley in May of 2016 after he gave me 16 years of unconditional love...maybe you've seen the video I made on "Male dog diaper trick for old dogs" on YouTube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d70f7fNcFg4) I miss him everyday. I lost my little sweetheart Bitsy to congestive heart failure on March 3, 2019.
I adopted Bitsy in 2013. My son and I found her as a stray, very sick, about to get hit by a car. I brought her to the local shelter, not knowing they were a “kill shelter”. Ten days later, no one claimed her, she was to be euthanized. Bitsy had lost a lot of hair from an advanced flea infestation, tested heart-worm positive, had intestinal worms, an infected liver and pancreatitis (from eating rotten food on the street), half her teeth broken, and had a black coat (black dogs don’t get adopted as often). She was doomed. I raised the money to adopt her. That was many years ago, and Bitsy became healthy and beautiful! She had a timid and sweet personality, and I’m so glad I could give her a loving home. I will always love and miss her.
Now I have a Shih Tzu mix named Lola. Lola is my sassy one. She barks at everything! But, that’s okay. She lets me know whenever a leaf falls from a tree, a squirrel is nearby, if a package arrived on my doorstep, or if someone is in my backyard (she scared away an intruder who was rummaging through my tool shed). Lola LOVES tennis balls and is willing to play fetch for hours. She likes to cuddle and insists on sleeping on my lap when I watch TV.
In April 2019, I adopted a bonded pair of older females. Betty is an American Eskimo mix and Bonnie in a Chihuahua/Terrier mix. They’re both around 7 years old. They cuddle each other all the time. It’s difficult for bonded pairs to find a forever home together. I’m glad I found them! Betty is calm and motherly, and she loves my huge box of squeaky toys. Bonnie is a rascal, yet so sweet.
I married, had 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter), and lived in Chicago proper. I home schooled my children for grade school for a year. They returned to the school system when their paternal grandmother moved in to have hospice care (she passed away 7 months later). After my two youngest sons had a horrible first year of public high school, we realized homeschooling was the solution. One Algebra teacher told me that he "loved" my son attending his class, though he gave him an F, because my son sat in the back of the room and never bothered him. This teacher had almost 40 students in his classroom. At that time, Chicago Public High Schools had a drop out rate close to 40%. My youngest son, who had always been an "A" and "B" student, began to receive failing grades that first semester of high school. We pulled them out, then took their education into our own hands to home school them. They are all adults now, and I’m a grandmother. I’m very proud of my children’s accomplishments!
Over the decades, I have helped students receive awards for most improved, skip grades, avoid summer school, and pass their GED. I've watched them start their own businesses, enter and graduate college. Each of their accomplishments has warmed my heart.
In 2005, I had an accident and fractured my neck. Though I had surgery and a year to learn to use my arms again, I never recovered completely. This left me disabled and unable to work. I never regained full use of my arms. My only income was to be a small amount of Social Security Disability.
In the fall of 2015, I started making YouTube Math videos for my grandchildren.
My first videos aren’t as good as my recent ones. I’m learning how to make them better as time goes by.
I realized that I can STILL make a contribution to society, teach, and help students reach their goals. I can take my time making the videos. On bad pain days, I watch TV or rest. On good days, I make as many videos as I can. Then I post one each day. It feels wonderful to be useful and know that I’m helping people. Thank goodness for the YouTube platform! I plan to make as many useful videos as possible. Then, go back and remake the ones that need to be more clear and concise.
My Math videos range in levels from 1st grade to Algebra II and Geometry. I'm constantly making new videos and updating the old ones. My goal is to help anyone who has difficulty with Math (whether trying to stay ahead of the class, keep up with the class or pass the GED).
I believe we need to keep our sense of humor when confronted with difficulties. Most of my students have had a hard time with the vocabulary (terminology) used in mathematics. So, I created cartoon characters, such as the "Sad Variable", who reminds the coefficient that it's "just a number without him" (he's sad because he doesn't know his own identity). I have "2D Bob", who upon turning sideways becomes a thin line, and his cousin "3D Dave". There is the mother Bluebird feeding her babies in a parentheses nest to show the concept of the Distributive Property. I also have "Cross-eyed Irrational Pi" and his buddy "Square of 2".
My math videos are seen WORLDWIDE. Almost one-third of my viewers are from disadvantage areas where the possibility of going to school, attending a Math class or hiring a tutor is impossible (especially for females). Through the wonder of technology, a cell phone, a tablet, my lessons are available to them. This is an HONORABLE CAUSE.

Hello everyone!
My name is Joann and I have a YouTube channel, "JoAnn's School". I'm counting on your kindness and generosity to keep it going.

I grew up in the Midwest, spending most of my life in the Chicago area. I've always loved dogs and have had many furry best friends throughout my life. (I lost my Barley in May of 2016 after he gave me 16 years of unconditional love...maybe you've seen the video I made on "Male dog diaper trick for old dogs" on YouTube? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d70f7fNcFg4) My sweet little Bitsy passed away in my arms March 2019, at 15 years old. I then adopted Betty and Bonnie, a bonded pair of older females who were at the shelter for a long time because few people want to adopt two dogs at once. Now my home is full again with Lola, Betty, and Bonnie!

Over the decades, I have proudly helped students receive awards for most improved, skip grades, avoid summer school, and pass their GED. I've watched them start their own businesses, enter and graduate college. Each of their accomplishments has warmed my heart.

I married, had 4 children (3 sons and 1 daughter), and lived in Chicago proper. I home schooled my children for grade school for a year. This teacher had almost 40 students in his classroom. My youngest son, who had always been an "A" and "B" student, began to receive failing grades that first semester. We pulled them out, then took their education into our own hands. Both sons were able to complete their high school requirements within 18 months.

In the Winter of 2005, I had an accident and underwent spinal surgery. I spent a year in occupational therapy putting beans in a cup, putting clothes pins on the edge of a cup, learning to use my arms and hands again. Unfortunately, I never healed properly and never regained full use of my arms and hands. My only income became Social Security Disability.

In the fall of 2015, I started making YouTube Math videos for my grandchildren. I could make them at my own pace, taking it easy on bad pain days. I apologize for the older videos that appear shaky, I have since bought a tripod to steady the camera.

I realized that I can STILL make a contribution to society, teach, and help students reach their goals. My biggest frustration had been feeling useless. Thank goodness for the YouTube platform! I plan to make as many useful videos as possible. Then, go back and remake the ones that need to be more clear and concise.

I believe we need to persevere and keep our sense of humor when confronted with difficulties. Most of my students have had a hard time with the vocabulary, terminology, used in mathematics. There is the mother Bluebird feeding her babies in a parentheses nest, to show the concept of the Distributive Property. I also have "Cross-eyed Irrational Pi" and his buddy "Square of 2".

There's nothing more annoying than to be frustrated by a math concept and not having anyone who can help. I'd like to keep my YouTube videos available to the world. I can't do this without you. I am asking for your kindness to help with any amount you can. Though a great platform for sharing knowledge, YouTube is not a way to sustain a living unless you have numerous viral videos (Math just doesn't go viral).

That's where Pateon comes to the rescue! If I can earn enough each month from Patreon, I'll be able to make ends meet, buy teaching supplies, completely support myself, pay for veterinary visits and feed my dogs, maintain my home, and live without fear.

She seems like a nice lady, didn't know Tim's an uncle.

I don't see any mention or announcement of this change on his Twitter. People in the comments are saying it is because Subverse shows up on the third page of Google results. That sounds like a reason that a fan of his made up.

I wonder if it has to do with the lawsuit from tims brother. maybe they were forced to change it?

That's sort of what Rogan always does. But I thought it was funny when Rogan started talking about nominally left-wing commentators who shamelessly pander to a right-wing audience, you could see Beanie Boy get a bit uncomfortable.

Pretty sure it's always been listed behind the Subverse game.

Pretty sure that never happened. They tend to bus you to places they want you to look at. You cant even leave your hotel at night
