Jesus tapdancing christ it must've been amateur hour up at Casa del Beanieboy. I'm guessing he didn't have an attorney specializing in estate management handling this because there's no way in hell anyone worth their salt would let this happen when advised that their client is looking to stay out of sight. Usually for something like this you have an offshore company hold legal title while you pay some goober to put his name on the incorporation documents and anywhere else it needs to be, but you retain full ownership of the corporation (and hence its properties). For someone with his kind of cash to spend he could've easily found someone working out of the Bahamas that could've handled this... but he didn't... because stupid fucking bean(ieboy).

Lesson to everyone else: If you want to stay out of sight... maybe ask somebody competent how to do it?
Jack Murphy is really close to Tim, even being his first IRL guest. Tim moved in rather close to where Jack lives now and Jack is, or at least was a real estate agent, I wonder if it was Jack who sold him the property as an agent or at least put the idea in Tim's head.

"I posted on Twitter asking why people aren't having kids and everyone responded 'I don't know, why aren't you having any?' And well,"

(He actually says this)

"I can't speak to as to why I don't. I honestly don't know."

Nigger. It is your dick. It is your million dollar skate mansion. It is your ignoring women until you were 36. Answer the question.
The correct answer is "none of your business."

I don't get how no one does any background checks before swatting. Like find out who lives in the place and see if a youtuber/twitcher and if so call the address to see it's not false allegations. Or ask the neighbors before barging in
my guess is a lot of people who SWAT make it seem like it's an emergency and they need to come RIGHT NOW before something bad happens

As hilarious as swatting can be, I do hope the people who made the call get caught and have the book thrown at them.
Attempted murder or no, it's wasting police and city resources and those cops have other things they should be doing.
Lives can still be lost because the cop went to check out the SWAT call, at the expense of ignoring a domestic violence call that ends in blood.
police are statistically more likely to kill you than to save you. if anything, tying up police resources may have saved someone's life.

More about Tim's corporate structure, Andy Leitermann is their CTO, the guy seen with the cops in Cast Castle. My guess is he's an outsider as he seems too normal for the normal cast of friends Tim brings in.

Lyds maintains it was super serious and only dumb luck saved them despite police scanners showing this was not the case.

In her defense she probably didn't know that at the time she posted that and misattributed the reasons things went smoother than a typical swatting.

Oh boy, what happened there? I know Tim used to mention Sam a lot, using him as an example of a drama grifter but I never knew they actually interacted.
It happened a couple of years ago. The two hilights Sam Seder fans point to is when he talked about Thanos as an example of utilitarianism and how that proves utilitarianism is bad and how he's typing to look up things in real time.

I don't mind if people are looking things up in real time, but they should be open about it. The superhero references are really dumb, especially using Thanos who has a pretty dumb backstory and motivation. One big thing that made me not like Tim was when I realized he wasn't just doing the super hero reference thing for the audience, but he was actually just that into super heroes that he viewed the world through reference to them.

Oh man, that superhero shit turned me off on Tim too. I really don't like modern American millennial culture (infantile obsession with juvenile things) and adult men in America REALLY need to grow up.

My impression was that Tim Pool simply doesn't know anything else apart from Marvel movies as a frame of reference.

Yeah, that's when I started get frustrated with him back when I did listen to him. Sargon will pick up a book now and again to explain his opinion. Tim, "for all his 18 hours a day of research," is an extremely narrow-minded person who doesn't know of anything older than himself.
