Hello, I'm one of those losers invading the thread because of the feature.

But I do know about music. This is pretty bad. It sounds like something Linkin Park put out during their "We really want to be U2 for some reason" phase in about 2004 but without their intensity. It's dated, the song structure is all over the place and the over-production takes any emotional heft out of the song - this would be a much better song just with a guy and an acoustic guitar, and given that most "guy with an acoustic guitar" songs are pretty bad, that's a bit of an indictment of how the producer has wrecked this song. 2/3 of the song is just an intro, the band should have kicked in about a minute before they actually did, and what they actually play is suffocated by the production (the drum parts are actually quite cool) by murdering them with unnecessary compression and violent EQ filters that make the whole song sound like it's underwater. Tim's singing is OK, but again it would be better without all the electronic bullshit and autotune making him sound like any other Imagine Dragons wannabe.

As many bands learn, just because you pay a producer a lot of money doesn't mean you get a result. This clearly had a decent budget (as did the video, though not enough to soundproof the location shoot given that the drummer's practice pads are visible) but it's been spent on adding effects to it that it didn't need, because "that's what producers do".

I now return you to your regular scheduled beanie-watching.

Like many have already posited as a theory - Tim's beanie is actually a parasitic lifeform beyond our understanding, likely from another world or dimension. He feeds off of Tim every time he gets a dono. Tim is actually a trans-activist and uber liberal but the beanie-being has made him into a "con-inc puppet". If you notice the low iq takes he regurgitates are straight from the RNC playbook verbatim. However, this isn't a :politisperg: of left vs right, WE NEED TO SAVE TIM AND POSSIBLY OUR PLANET FROM THIS CREATURE.


Unfortunately it may be inoperable because the being is sentient and will kill all who dare try to remove it from its preys skull. His foray into music is just another command from the beanie-being to further his clout and thereby make his chance at world domination more probable. Chicken city is really an alien war camp.

2 thirds of the song is like he stitched all of his intro ideas together and thought that was what structure was
nothing goes anywhere with pure build and then it's 1 minute of actual song but EVEN THEN all the mixing is fucked anyway

It's like a group of 17 year olds that have been a band for a year finally got access to their school's music room.
 
The only talent Tim Pool has is vampirism, i.e. sucking up money from old deathfat boomers.

I'm ashamed of what he's become over the years.

I actually liked him in the early days. But that was back when it felt like literally everyone was supporting Antifa and dumb shit like that. So having at least one person say "nah that's shit" was pretty good. Then again I was also a fan of Milo back in those days so maybe it is just being shit at judging someone's character,

Glad we don't need to go "okay, we'll deal with this massive tard because they at least make a good point" anymore.

I wouldn't say you're a bad judge of character when Milo was hiding the ace up his sleeve of condoning little boys getting their assholes blown out by older men. I don't think any of us actually saw that coming.

As for Tim, I liked him as well until his massive hypocrisy started showing through the cracks in the veneer he tried to create for himself. "I support abortions, but I don't support the death penalty." "The right needs to stand up for itself....but no not like that." etc etc.
