I stopped watching, so I'm not sure, but that check mark is part of youtube's new verified channel concept, where if you're big enough you get it so you appear in chats better. I'm not sure if it translates to super chats as well though.
Th 3 million figure seems way to high. Social blade suggests on the high end his three channels are getting maybe 200k$ a month, and the super chat tracker I found suggests it's about 3k$ a week, which is about 212k$ combined, factor in sponsorships and those can pay some nuts amounts, though usually the best paying are more scammy ones like FTX. I'd say it's possible he's in the 500-1 million range off of his youtube stuff, that's not counting however crazy amount he might be bringing off of his website. So maybe he's bringing in that much total, but also he does actually have a reasonably sized staff so it's not that crazy if that's total revenue across all of his things.
I'll also add, I've had the benefit to know the books of small companies, and divisions of international companies that specifically covered the USA, and 25-50 million a year was roughly normal in sales. Their net profit was most likely worse than Tim's though, as they actually sold a product and had to consider their margin, but they were roughly staffed by 20-30 people in the country. Also, thinking about it, it shows how shitty Tim is at hiring, as all of these companies roughly had 10 outside sales staff that just had a region they'd have to constantly travel around in and well gather data in the market as well as wine and dine people, yet Tim can't figure out how to get a couple field reporters.
