Anybody watch the episode with Rittenhouse? Is it any good or the typical sperging from Tim. Since I don't think Kyle has enough experiences or insight on election shit and other schizo topics
that’s what I came here for, too!
Here’s the video (somebody else embed, it’s not working for me).
watching right now. In the past, Rittenhouse has seemed really, really nervous in interviews. Not all interviews, like he was comfortable with Elijah Schaffer, but most/many, he’s clearly nervous to a point where it shuts down his thoughts/conversation ability. It’s interesting, because he wasn’t like that on the witness stand, when he had to talk in front of a courtroom, with millions of people watching on TV. On the witness stand, he was clear and confident. I think being so recognizable, post-trial, fucked with him.
Summarizing as I watch. So far…
Rittenhouse now wants to be a journalist/podcaster. He’s started a YouTube channel, but hasn’t posted anything yet because (he says) he’s still learning how to set up a studio and talk about things, but he wants his content to revolve around activism against censorship pro-first and the second amendment.
He’s still pro Back the Blue. He thinks most cops who don’t stand up for what’s right (think 2020) is due to bad supervisors and sheriffs who are corrupt and the cops are scared to stand up to their superiors, scared to lose their jobs, their pensions. He cited the example of the officer who was fired for donating to him. I don’t really have an opinion, I’ve personally always just viewed cops as a necessary evil, whatever, but I’m impressed by the nuance Rittenhouse is able to look at things in, that’s unusual for someone his age and unusual for older adults, too, honestly.
To be continued…
EDIT: sorry, got super busy/distracted. ADD lol. I’ll watch the rest within the next couple hours, just gotta finish something.
