Tim proves how inept he is once again when he mentions they don't have a method to keep track of super chats from the start of the show and are too lazy to open the back end to view them after they've been removed from the front end because they're an hour old. Compare this to someone like Pippa, who has 2k viewers, and she already has her mods gather up all the superchats from the multiple platforms she's on and they send it to her at the end of the show so she can cover any of them that she missed.

Imagine paying a full time producer to push all the buttons and some pink anime rabbit's jannies who do it for free are more competent.

Biggest thing is that the Podfather, Adam Curry, still has his podcast going and he's been podcasting since day one. He uses the old RSS method and it's the listeners who give him money. He's not on any major platform and doesn't take advertising money. He doesn't make as much as the youtube grifters but he's uncensoreable and his podcast are some of the best. Every one kf these grifters could do it but they prefer to have the foundation of the old system (add buys)

I guess this will be unpopular, but I thought Tim handled the first hour of the show pretty well. Let Crowder answer point by point, not too much interrupting or self-aggrandizing commentary. It was there, but not excessively like it usually is. Second half turned into more of the usual.

Dave is the reason I'm rolling my eyes at Crowder accusing DW of poaching employees. Crowder did a lot of damage to Compound Media (a comedy network) by poaching their funniest comedian in a short notice deal that put everyone on their heels.

It has to be the same scam as every hipster "startup" company, find a way to hire all your friends and their friends. These days everybody who can use a computer has amateur skills in at least one form of digital media.

On his stream last night, at about 2 hours and 19 minutes, Rekieta said that while he was at Tim Pool's studio he was told that they had about 400k subs at the time. If true, Crowder easily has at an least 300k paid subscriber base.

Rekieta was on Timcast a year ago.

The problem with Crowder is that he SOLD his mug club multiple times already. He took deals where he signed over his mailing lists and mug club subscriptions already. One of the major gay things about Crowder is he’s already taken shittier deals than Daily Wire offered several times.

So for one thing, if you’re a long time Crowder fan and you signed up for the mug club in the past, suddenly you’re getting spam emails from The Blaze or CRTV, because he fucking sold your email. That’s how he does his fans.

But he still doesn’t have enough money, and THIS TIME he finally wants to keep your information for himself. Unless someone offered him $30 million a year, then he’d sell your ass off again.

These people are fucking stupid if they think his new "stopbigcon" or "mugclubforever" mean shit. People are not going to fucking pay him again for something they have already paid him for.

How many of those "300k" people signed up had already paid him for the year? Sure, I'll just eat the remaining 8 months of the membership I already paid you for and pay you again. No fucking problem bud.

The people he’s talking about are signed up for The Blaze, because he sold his rights to that shit to The Blaze, hence he couldn’t give Daily Wire an up to date count because The Blaze wasn’t telling him the numbers.

So he’s saying he can get 300k people to SWITCH from The Blaze to either himself or whoever new that he wants to sell your information and subscription to. I don’t know if he really could have, but I doubt it now because this crusade is pissing a lot of people off.

Right, for sure. Everyone talking about this is like "he has all these people ready to sub" and that's just not the case. Even if they do continue to support him, I can't imagine a big percentage is just going to pay him again.

I stopped paying for mug club because they always seem to take 2+ full months off a year, Even using promo codes barely made it worth the cost of entry.

That doesn't sound realistic, and either Rekieta misheard or Tim was bullshitting. If he has 400k subscribers, at 10$ a month, he's making 48 million a year off of subscribers alone, and he's freaking out about money to the point he's firing people? Sure, there are expenses but with 4 million coming in a month with the main cost being web hosting should be plenty, and his Youtube probably covers the majority of other expenses.

If I remember correctly, Jeremy said in his response that Crowder claimed to be able to deliver “350,000 subs on day one.”

So, Crowder was most likely LOOKING to sell the license to his subs again, if they materialized. He just glosses over that and then acts like that provision in the term sheet was a surprise to fuck him over
