-Tim considers the recent shooting in Manhattan to be more likely to be motivated by globalising the intifada rather than a grudge against the NFL. Phil & Steve bring up reports that there was a note on his body, claiming it was revenge for receiving a chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) during his time playing football, in high school. Combined with mental illness, it makes the attack motive more plausible. Tim rejects this out of hand, claiming that suppressing pro-Palestine motivation would hurt mayoral candidate Zohram Mamdani. Elad notes that CTE injuries are common in professional football. Steve makes his own unsubstantiated theory, that the media is promoting the CTE angle, because they wish to demonise the "uniquely masculine & American" sport of football. Tim, again, rejects these ideas & goes on to criticise how everyone else is relying on the anonymously-sourced reporting, instead of the proper action which is wild speculation. He shifts to an anti-capitalist motivation, because Blackstone was involved in buying up real estate. Tim becomes so frustrated, as even his chat tries to tell him that is unlikely, he declares Donald Trump must have been an asset for Russia, because that is what the reporting was:
"I'm bouta bixnood dem NFL fuckers fo' not makin' me a footballist, fucking big dick an' shit.""
*Elevator doors open and it's some random office.*
"Shieeeeet"

Dude probably couldn't make it in football because he was too retarded to run to the right goal.

Thankfully, no one perished during the recent tsunami. Because I would pity the soul, looking down from Heaven, seeing moonfaced Tim pretending to be shocked for a thumbnail:
gawping maw.webp

Tim had Terrence Popp, a veteran & content creator, as the guest.
Brett, Phil, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

There was some nice ghost story talk, interspersed about. A terrible day to not have Ian, or Shane, around.

Clip Collection:
-Tim's new sponsor, Webroot, does not have the most sterling reputation:

-The beanie boy loves to protest at how hard he works on his business, when in actuality, it is his wife doing the real heavy operations. Such as calling the repairmen to deal with faulty air conditioners:

-A long-time member of Tim's "elite membership" programme, which was meant to centre around a "club" in the Martinsburg CastBrew location, has not delivered on its promises:

Though I am somewhat surprised Tim has not talked about the recent remarks by President Donald Trump, claiming that the reason he banned Jeffrey Epstein from Mar-a-Lago was due to "taking people who worked for me", not over hitting on the daughter of a member. Atop that was the family of Virginia Giuffre coming out to demand Trump not offer any form of clemency to Ghislaine Maxwell. Not a single video, or Twitter post, I could find.

On 31 July, Tim had Joseph Gradante, co-founder of Allio, an investment firm, as the guest.
Brett, & Mary, were the co-hosts.

Clip Collection:
-Unfortunately, the beanie boy did not heed Our Graphene Guy's recommendation to get in on Palantir, early, & missed the boat. However, Ian's recommendation for Tim to invest in graphene led to him making $100,000:

-Tim is befuddled as to why people are not willing to drop everything, & do the jobs he wants them to do. An exterminator says they were not willing to cease their current jobs to work on Tim's compound. Likewise, the beanie boy was upset that "young men, 20 year old guys" are spending too much time at the beach, instead of slaving away at his latest fool's errand:

On 1 August, Tim had Ritchie Jackson, & Jason Ellis, both skaters, as the guest.
Ian, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

It was actually an entertaining episode, because Ian, Jason, or Ritchie, would redirect from Tim's enforced topic to discuss something related, but interesting. With it being a loose, natural conversation, the show became much more watchable.

Clip Collection:
-As Tim said, Ian sounds really crazy, but actually can make some sense, sometimes. Our Graphene Guy mangles the phrase "It is better to seek forgiveness than ask permission" in trying to explain that he who hesitates is lost. If an animal, or ancestral human, kept waiting for food, or only asking for it, instead of taking it, they would die & "you're gonna be part of the gene pool". Takes a bit, but the panel does agree, after Ian is translated into sane speech:

-I have not had a chance to clip it, but during the latest live Culture War episode, the designated leftist, Pisco Litty, seemed unwilling, or unable to roll with one of Matan Even's jokes, to the point people suspected he was a closet zoophile:

Last edited:

Tim uploaded the live Culture War episode featuring Matan Evens, Pisco Litty, Gavin McGinnis, & Alex Stein, debating over the Trump administration's record.

As expected it was a chaotic situation, due to Matan & Gavin's presence, & Pisco seemed ill-prepared to deal with it.

Clip Collection
-Pisco insisted on talking about the debate topic, rather than accusations of his alleged zoophilia:

Which only led to it becoming a running joke, throughout the night, where both panelists & guests would needle him upon it:

On 4 August, Tim was absent, due to losing his voice, so Phil was the host. Ellie Bufkin, deputy director of communications at the Foundation for Defending Democracies, a foreign policy think tank, was the guest.

Shane, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

It did not have any real clippable moments.

On 5 August, Tim remains out of the hosting chair, & Phil is all that remains.
Dave Landau made his return, as a guest. & thankfully, he was not made into an impromptu therapist for a man-child, like the last time.
Elad, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

Dave had plenty of space to make some jokes, & the rest of the panel joined in.

On 6 August, Tim has returned, sad to report. The guest was Scott Greer, a conservative podcaster.
Brett, Phil, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

The beanie boy seems irritable, this episode. More distracted, prone to exasperation at the news/differing viewpoints, etc.

Clip Collection:
-Brett mentions that Phil has a SiriusXM subscription, & he talks about it. Cut to two minutes later, where Tim is shocked to learn that Phil uses SiriusXM, as if it had not just been brought up. The beanie boy really needs to pay better attention:

-Tim gets whiny about the panel not talking about HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pushing to remove thimerosal from vaccines. Imagine not using IRL to discuss topical news of the day. Not as if Tim would miss a big story, from the same day as this episode. He works 16 hours straight to catch the important news, after all:

-Tim & the panel argue over population trends, where the beanie boy claims it is moving towards rural/suburban expansion, while the rest of the panel notes how cities have been on the rise for some time. Tim refuses to accept this, & it leads into almost sixteen minutes of quibbling:

Tim takes the points presented by the other panelists in the most straw-manned fashion, e.g. trying to rebut Brett's claims about Detroit not looking as run-down by bringing up anemic population increases. The beanie boy claims that "if you're choosing to pay attention" people would see he is right. By the end, Tim has shifted to saying people are not having children to explain these empty urban spaces, blaming the 2008 market crash for his arrested development in having a child. Which is funny considering he implored people to move into the middle of nowhere, & start a family:

-Phil & Tim get into a pedantic back-&-forth over losing weight. Phil offers the simpler explanation of calories-in-calories-out, which Tim takes umbrage at. The beanie boy pushes for a focus on macro-nutrients, & derides Phil's stance as not effective. The two joust over this, for some time, with Tim resorting to blatant straw-manning, once more:

After almost twelve minutes of this, Tim still refuses to accept Phil's more digestible diet recommendation, harping on about how eating only protein & fat is the best solution:

On 7 August, both Phil & Tim were away, so Tate the producer took the helm. Tony Ortiz, a reporter covering Texas state politics, was the guest.

Carter, Libby, & Sean, another producer that is tasked with making the clips of IRL, were the co-hosts.

A rather uneventful episode, with Tate still gaining his footing as a host, & the second string panelists. However, it was still more of a natural conversation than Tim's usual railroading along the news stories, which is a plus.

Tim is clearly a homosexual, and being paid by a foreign government. I am not allowed to elucidate, as this website bans dissident voices. F You, Josh Moon!

Stop being a retard, no one is going to ban you for pointing out the already well known fact that Tim Pool was funneled money unknowingly by Russia or that he had that sit down with Netanyahu.

You'll just get a bunch of clocks unless you have new info to offer. Quit being a pansy and spill the beans.

On 8 August, Tim was absent, again, in preparation for a Culture War Live event, but Phil was there to host.
Angela Belcamino, a self-declared "bold lib" & Twitter personality, was the guest.
Elad, Raymond, & Sean the producer, were the co-hosts.

As Angela is best known for self-photographs for her Twitter posts & extreme short-form content, she was not exactly the most brilliant of guests. Add to that, Elad & Sean are not the greatest, themselves. Even with Tim away, it was not a good episode. So, nothing really clippable, as it was more tedious than anything.

On 11 August, Tim made his unwelcome return. The guest was Vince Dao, a conservative commentator.
Elad, Phil, & Shane, were the co-hosts.

Clip Collection:
-Hell has frozen over, because Elad actually made a point I agree with & he presented it in an alright manner. Whilst talking about the recent federalisation of law enforcement in Washington D.C., Elad calls out Tim's repeated demands that people abandon cities to leftist lunatics:

-Tim says "an incident occur over the weekend", that required a call to the police, but gives little details:

-The running theory that Tim brings on co-hosts to make himself look better seems more accurate by the day. To have the beanie boy appear less philosemitic by comparison, Elad is present to play the zealous Jew-lover. After covering Grok's claim that it was taken down, due to violating the hateful conduct policy, Elad tries to argue that LLMs are systematically biased against Israel. After Tim asks Grok, once more, it agrees that Israel is committing a genocide, Elad moves to how the sources LLMs use are biased, as well. Shane notes the deaths of Al Jazeera reporters, but Elad, Phil, & Tim swing in to try & claim the journalists were terrorists:

Tim jokes that Israel does not actually exist, as it is all fake, & that elicits laughs. When Shane adds that there are no more starving Palestinians, because they died, it does not go over so well. Elad keeps noting that the sources cited are biased against Israel. Shane highlights that there are Jews whom do not approve of Israel's existence, so it is not solely based in anti-semitism. Elad calls the Haredim "freeloaders", comparing them to libertarians that decry the government's power but still profit from it. Phil reminds Elad that libertarians pay taxes, & having an opposing viewpoint is not freeloading:

As Elad, Phil, & Shane continue to talk, Tim polls the chat over Israel committing genocide. 62% said the Jewish state was not. Vince asks what Israel's endgame is, now. With the initial justification of retribution for 7 October, it expanded fighting in Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, & Syria. Tim says it is to completely control Gaza. But Elad tries to spin it as security control, only. Phil reminds the panel of the Israeli withdrawal in 2005, to justify action to prevent another 7 October. Elad tries to push the idea that PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been using "kid gloves" in Gaza, which Shane disagrees with:

-Elad brings up the changing opinion of homosexual marriage, since it was ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court, in Obergefell v. Hodges, as a way to rebuff the panel's optimism for its overturning. Though this ignores the trend of popular opinion following legality, e.g. integrating the armed forces was considered unpopular during World War II, but after its implementation via executive order, in 1948, it is now considered the norm. Though Tim hoists himself by his own petard, by claiming that Obergefell, which he declares "not law". Which is incorrect, as President Joe Biden signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, which codified it. But even putting this aside, Tim's argument for why Obergefell should not work is just as applicable to Loving v. Virginia, as both rely upon specific interpretations of the 14th Amendment. Tim "mixed race" Pool would rule his existence a product of a criminal act, & I am all for that:

-Apparently, Sean the producer thought Elad was "Indian". Further evidence Tim is in a race to the bottom to have co-hosts that make him look better, by comparison:

On 12 August, Tim had Allen West, executive director for the American Constitutional Rights Union, a right-leaning version of the ACLU, as the guest.
Elad, & Phil, were the co-hosts.

I am surprised to report this episode was watchable, despite Tim being there.
Allen was given plenty of space to talk & provide his position, so it was not all the beanie boy monologuing away.
& despite the guest bringing up Israel, in passing, the panel did not get into the usual apologetics for the Jewish state.

On 13 August, Tim was absent, so Phil took up the hosting role, again.

Quite serendipitously, the night's guest was Adam King, an aggressively Jewish podcaster whose remarks made his debate partner, & recent guest of IRL, Gavin McInnes, to abandon him, mid-discussion. Gird your loins for this one, it was the polar opposite of the last outing.

Brett, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

Thankfully, Elad was not present, either. Though I have to wonder how he would respond to his co-ethnic/religionist's positions

Clip Collection:
-Adam talks about his usual pastime of debating anti-semites. Brett compares that to Darryl Davis trying to deradicalise white supremacists. As you shall see across this episode, if Darryl's techniques were the same as Adam's, there would have been a third revival of the Klu Klux Klan:

-Adam & Phil seem befuddled by comparisons of a solution to the Russia-Ukraine War to the current situation in the West Bank. Adam is upset that the connection was even made between the two, joking that it makes him even more intent upon creating Greater Israel. Though the idea of a territory not being part of a neighbouring state, but subject to slow efforts to expand into it, & exercising de facto control of it, despite there being another state in de jure possession of it. Though Tate is correct to compare this proposal to what happened in the wake of the 2008 Georgia-Russia War, where two independent states were established by Russia, on Georgian soil, under the argument of protecting minorities from abuse by their government. This was at the same time feelers for adding Georgia & Ukraine to NATO were put out. Though funnily enough, much like the West Bank, the borders of Abkhazia, & South Ossetia, are allegedly being slowly advanced into sovereign Georgian territory, by Russian forces. Also, Adam complains about arbitrary borders being established, outside of geographic boundaries, is a recipe for disaster. Which is ironic considering the basis for modern Israel was arbitrary borders, disregarding geography & ethnography:

-This was where Adam became unbearable. Adam insisted that Phil have the last segment be about how there was an actual red heifer sacrificed, clearing the way for the Jewish Messiah to return & the Third Temple to be built. Adam pushed to talk about it. Recall that for later. Originally, it was supposed to be a practice sacrifice with an unworthy bovine, but "they fooled everybody", according to Adam. He even brandishes "a dime bag" of the ashes, which can be used in healing rituals. Adam claims it cures Alzheimer's, blindness, etc. Which could have been useful, as Tim was sick & could not host. Phil asks for more information, & Adam rattles off why this counts, as well as the superiority of Jewish beliefs:

Adam bolsters this event's importance by claiming Yahyah Sinwar prematurely attacked Israel, on 7 October, out of fear of the red heifer. This leading to the devestation of Israel's enemies, allowing Adam to further support his case. However, I could find no proof of this. alleged statement by Yahyah, but there were tangential references by Hamas spokesmen about it. Tate asks why Christians should care about this, & here Adam begins to remind me of Tim. He begins talking about how "I have come to learn" not all Christian sects see Christ as a divine manifestation & the Trinity is not widely accepted, which Tate & Serge quickly refute. Adam tries to argue that re-enacting Jewish sacrifices is the same as a battlefield re-enactment, but only Jewish events are derided. This goes on to splitting hairs on how sacrifices by Jews are not actually like pagan sacrifices, because God merely consumes the odor of it. Which is not all that different than Greco-Roman sacrifices, where inedible parts are the offered up, & the edible parts are consumed by the community. Tate listens, & notes that Christians see Jesus' crucifixion as the last of those types of offerings & a new covenant was formed from then on. During this exchange, Adam goes from solid confidence to retreating to claims that he is uneducated & only repeating what he was told. Adam, then, complains that "everywhere I go, like, I really love politics, & I wanna comment on politics. But hey, the Bible!" Tate reminds Adam that he brought all this up, on his own, & insisted they cover it. Adam lamely brushes this off:

-Adam opines as to why Christians think "none of it matters" when it comes to Jewish ceremonies, like the red heifer. Tate & Serge explain how Christ was the fulfillment of the Old Covenant, & those restrictions/requirements for ceremony are no longer needed. Adam keeps trying to tie Israel's success, & these offerings, to the return of Christ. Serge comes on camera, looking like a deep-fried nightmare, because Tim cannot maintain the equipment, I suppose. He asks Adam if the intentional importation of a red heifer, specifically bred for sacrifice, undermine the divine worth of the offering. Adam rejects this. Now, Adam decides to channel some Ian, talking about how a book he wrote about how when the Messiah comes, people shall begin unlocking telepathy, telekinesis, walking through walls, etc. When Ian talks about this, it is funny, & I sense no deception from him. But Adam simply reeks of duplicity:

Adam claims that Jews are set on "making this world heaven", not merely seeking it in the hereafter, & Hell only has an 11 month limit on how long you have to stay there. When he tries to argue that sacrifices are what make people worthy to stand before God, & Christians must do the same, Tate rebuts this, once more. But Adam takes the strawman approach, changing it to it is not required to be in communion with God. After a bit more back-&-forth, Phil moves on to super-chats:

If Tim Pool streams and JamesWebSlinger doesn't cover it, did the stream really even happen?
Thankfully. God is giving me a bit of a break by smiting Tim with illness. & Tim's refusal to take a sick day, in the previous weeks, & delegate his hosting duty, resulted in him becoming bed-ridden. That explains both his, & my, absence from the thread:
sick daze.webp

On 14 August, Phil hosted Terrence Williams, comedian & pancake mix salesman, as the guest.
Raymond, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

This outing was fairly boring, simply the usual conversations, only benefited by Tim not being there.

On 15 August, Phil was still hosting, & had Alexandra Lains, a social media personality & musician, as the guest.
Carter, & Ian, were the co-hosts.

Again, nothing too special to report here, with Tim not on-set to bless us with his unique bald brand of bad.

Tim continues his missing streak, as Phil is hosting, still.
The guest was Zeek Arkham, a conservative social media personality. The co-hosts were Chris Karr, Raymond, & Shane.

From perusing the stream, it does look to be another uneventful outing.

However, the beanie boy is still posting, so he cannot be completely incapacitated.

-Tim critiques the recent rebranding of MSNBC. & you can trust his judgement, as he is known for his skill in picking brand names:

However, here are some posts of his, so you do not miss out on his latest takes. & after that, I summarise the shows.

Tim has a good laugh at the Associated Press posting the unedited audio of a segment. People in glass houses should not throw stones, as the beanie boy has his own history of recording issues, failures, & follies, as well

Tim makes a very confusing posts about a website called Shredder. First, he thanks people for supporting it. Then, talks about how he was "made a generous offer and decided to take it", implying he is somehow involved with the site. Only to immediately reject this notion, in the next sentence. Bad joke, fever-induced aphasia, you be the judge:

On 19 August, Phil was the host, & Kevin Sorbo, the guest.
Elad, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

I am running short of new ways to state how the show is immensely improved with Tim away. Phil does a far better job engaging with the guest, & giving the panel their own space to interact with each other, compared with the beanie boy's manner of management.

Clip Collection:
-Tim was able to attend the pre-show, it seems, but is still could not belly up to the bar for the cameras. I just hope he did not play Typhoid Mary to Kevin:

On 20 August, Phil hosted Theresa Payton, a cybersecurity expert, & Chief Information Officer for George W. Bush, as the guest.
Brett, & Raymond, were the co-hosts.

A fairly uneventful outing, this time.

On 21 August, Phil played host to Mike Crispi, an aggressively Italian-American podcaster, & Frank, his producer.
Brett, & Mary, were the co-hosts.

Clip Collection:
-With Tim absent, the younger co-hosts get to be more forthright about race:

On 22 August, Phil was hosting William Wolfe, executive director of Centre for Baptist Leadership, as the guest.
Ian, & Libby, were the co-hosts.

Clip Collection:
-Ian can widely oscillate in quality, across an episode, & even in a single conversation. Our Graphene Guy goes from correctly noting that there is an effort to land all responsibility unto Jeffrey Epstein, in recent disclosures from the Justice Department, downplaying any talk of co-conspirators outside of Ghislaine Maxwell. But then he is completely unaware of the disastrous interview Prince Andrew did. & to top it off, when William reads a bible verse about the truth being unveiled in the End Times, but Ian takes this as AI emerging to disclose everyone's data. The cherry on top was Ian asking William what is satanic about an elite pedophile ring. Phil just cackles at that one, & says how much he loves Our Graphene Guy:

-Though Ian does swing back, by conceding that "some fascism is good" & the 10% stake of Intel that the U.S. government took is acceptable if it is for national security needs. He does hedge this support due to the money being printed influencing inflation:

I love how Tim, from his ivory tower if I have to remind you, harps on about population collapse while he himself is in the global 1% and only now approaching 40 years old has one kid.

Come on Beanie Boy. You're so worried about the population you should have 5 no 9 children to spread those beanie wearing oats far and wide.

In all seriousness im so fucking sick and tired of being told how there's a problem. How im the cause of said problem and when I ask "Well can I get some help please?" Im told to suck it up and breed more because we need more grunts.

Speaking of being sick & tired, as well Tim needing to be punished for his wrongs, the beanie boy has been laid out for the entire week with whatever mystery disease he has:

For the last five days, he has not hosted IRL, the morning live show, or The Culture War. Even when the latter talked about everyone's favourite conflict, Israel-Palestine. It is a very ironic punishment that a man that declares his favourite thing is to complain on the internet, in front of a camera, is rendered mute & forced to watch others do his job so much better.

As with last week, I shall compile Tim's noteworthy posts, & offer brief summaries of IRL. However, I cannot lie, without Tim to cover, or Ian to make me laugh, I do not do much more than skim, so if I miss anything, please share it.

-Tim claims to be excited for AI to take the jobs of influencers, seemingly not realising he is one, himself. Perhaps ChatGPT sent some influencer-za to take out the beanie boy, first:

-The beanie boy responds to Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL), detailing his experiences in the racial jungle of the South Side of Chicago. But, fails to name the dominant ethnicity of the perpetrators of his childhood horror stories:

-The secluded skaterman-child offers his own analysis of the markings upon the guns used in the shooting at the Annunciation Catholic Church, tying this to his favourite sport:

-Tim called in Alex Stein to host The Culture War on Israel-Palestine, but this one was in the compound's studio, so we did not get a live audience to participate:

-Tim vents his spleen over another TikTok strike:

-Tim mentions wanting to make a documentary on how "The population crisis is a cultural crisis", in response to a post by someone talking about how his child uses AI to do homework, which is itself made by AI:

-Tim attempts to be too clever by half. In trying to expose how "stupid people (are tricked) into protecting evil" by stating how people more likely hurt by crime are "gangbangers", the beanie boy fails to realise he is raising attention about certain ethnicities being the problem:
petard.webp

On 25 August, Tim embraced the long-standing tradition of replacing local workers with Polacks by having Jack Posobiec usurp Phil as the host. The guest was Andrew Wilson, a man whose greatest adversary is an olive jar. Also, this was the day before Andrew made his post & replies on the Dundee girl brandishing weapons to allegedly keep gypsies away, so there was no discussion of that.

Phil, Shane, & Tate the producer, were the co-hosts.

In general, I am not a fan of the "debate me" type of blokes, like Andrew, as they either perform the verbal equivalent of insisting people are cowards unless they agree to wrestle in their muddy sty of a platform, or demonstrate themselves to be hypocritical whilst vehemently demanding others live up to their expectations. Much like Tim, in that regard.

On 26 August, Jack remained to host the show, & the guest was David Rodriguez, a heavyweight boxer.
Elad, Phil, & Tate the producer, as the guests.

Not that eventful of an episode.

On 27 August, Jack was the host, again, & the guest was Dr. Steve Turley, an academic-turned-YouTuber.
Brett, Libby, & Phil, were the co-hosts.

This episode's mix of panelists & guest were more palatable than the previous ones.

On 28 August, Tim sought to downplay talk of his disappearance by sending out a body double (Mike Benz bedecked in a beanie) to assuage the audience. He hosted an episode with Amber Duke, whom has to be one of the most prolific guests on IRL. However Amber's meager six appearances pales in comparison to Jack Murphy's fourteen.

Mary, & Phil, were the co-hosts. Though I am saddened to report Mary has given her first dogwater take, which is agreeing with Muslims on reducing the public presence of dogs.

Clip Collection:
-I was hopping through, & I am glad to see Mike is continuing Tim's tradition of sounding off on topics, with little to no research. In covering a bout of fisticuffs in the Mexican legislature, Mike claims it was a clash over U.S. military intervention to suppress the cartels. However, the real conflict was over a member of the opposition being denied a request for extra time to speak, & further inflamed by Senator Lilly Téllez claiming Morena (the current ruling party) were "narcopoliticians" & "narcosatanics". While these statements were made by a politician known for her recent support of American assistance in degrading criminal organisations in Mexico, the fight was not as explicitly over it as Mike & the rest make it out to be. Also, the cherry on top is no panelist understanding Spanish, the language being spoken in the videos they are citing. I missed this sort of quality news coverage, with Tim away:

On 29 August, Alex Stein stuck around from The Culture War to host the night show, with Jamie Reed, a whistleblower from a pediatric trooning centre, & Karys Rhea, a former producer at NewsMax & Epoch Times, as the guests.

Libby, & Phil, were the co-hosts.

Alex manages to be a good host, by injecting levity into the conversation, but also managing to get the guests to open up & offer their particular expertise. Which is a refreshing change from Tim's usual Alexandrian strategy of speaker succession, only letting the strongest personalities, willing to interrupt, claim the chance to speak.
