Listen, I like Tim Pool. I even think he's moderately intelligent. But he's not smarter nor more knowledgeable than the typical MIT student. Tim's hatred of college is sour grapes.

(Referring to the discussion topic at the end of today's stream with Larry Sanger.)
He's selling a product and earning money on views.
Like him or whatever, just understand that no media personality is like what you think they are like.
And read this-

Someone needs to tell him to edit down his videos. All of the ones about the Floyd trial have been 30 minutes of just repeating the exact same bullshit while accusing the media of bias while he's also being being bias. If you only listened to CNN/NBC you would think there is no chance of acquittal. If you only listened to Tim you'd think there is no chance of conviction.

Thank you Tim for confirming you make millions.

lmao. I get this isn't a skate forum so i'll try to hold back my sperging but WOW that was underwhelming. Where's the flatground kickflip Tim? Why did you include that shot of you bailing a fucking axle stall? Not trying to be a hater, but really, in an 18 minute clip all you put together was a bunch of rock fakies on 3' minis, a half cab on flat, ski-jump-hardflip-thing we already saw in the last footy, and a nosestall revert? To quote a famous politician: "C'mon man!"

I'm actually really suprised, his prior footage has some decent tricks.

He's getting older. You know, I've been watching a lot of King of the Hill and remember when Peggy fell out of a plane and turned into a narcissist? That's what I'm thinking happened to Tim Pool. Sometime in 2017, he hit his nuts on a railing and turned into a giant pussy.

Oh dude was getting convicted. The prosecution could have just shat in the courtroom for their argument and he would be found guiltily. Which is what they did. Arguments never mattered, the jury did not want to wind up dead.

Serious question: how is it possible for Ian to be so fucking dumb?

I love it when he says stuff so breathtakingly idiotic that Tim visibly starts to get mad at him. It usually starts with some stoner hot take that distracts from or completely misses the point someone else makes or when he starts down the path of some flimsy analogy that quickly slips out of his grasp and spirals into utter nonsense. You can actually watch Tim's rage slowly building and building until he sometimes snaps. I really love the moments where a guest, who maybe doesn't know what they have gotten into, reaches a breaking point where you can tell they are trying as hard as they can to remain polite but desperately just want the guy to shut the fuck up for a few minutes.

I was flipping through Youtube videos 2-3 days ago, and Tim was talking about how he didn't feel bad for people still living in cities (in classic Kiwi 'you get what you fucking deserve' memes), and Ian started counterarguing about the Federal Reserve. It was hilarious seeing Tim in stunned silence like "what the fuck are you talking about?" mode.

Exactly! It usually happens to some degree three or four times per episode but occasionally you get a real gem like what you mentioned. I still can’t figure out if it’s because he is unbelievably high or if he is actually sincere (which would be worse)

He gets what he fucking deserves.

Tim continues to be a faggot about the police.

"The people don't support you, so leave!"

Why should they? These are their homes. Their communities. I get that you're a NEET who never leaves his bedroom, Tim, but that's not the case for the rest of us. These people have families and homes and have built their lives in these cities. They have relationships and friendships with people they have protected, and they are probably invested in trying to rehabilitate kids that they got off a bad path. You should defend the police, because the police are doing what they can to protect people's rights.

Now Tim is trying to be a lolbertarian saying "well everyone should just protect themselves!" Yeah, no. How are you going to protect yourself in Chiraq when they outlaw guns? Are you going to buy a gun across state lines and take it with you illegally just to protect yourself? Violate your own state's law?

Look, it's complicated. I'm just going to grab my skateboard and a fresh pack of beanies, hop in my van, and head down to the beach...

That's What annoys me about people like smooth brain tim. Like yeah you left to be a retarded farmer in bumfuck no where however, not everyone has the grifter money to uproot their life and in times like this some people need support like family in the places they live not everyone's family sucks Tim

So should we make a drinking game every time Tim mentions living in the mountain and going "lul just leave I did"

I understand Tim's basic bitch point about how if you don't like the area you live in, then leave. But he keeps glossing over two major points.

1) Some people literally can't leave. Either they are too poor, or they have roots down, et cetera. Which brings me to:
2) Some people want to live with their families. Like, my mom isn't going anywhere. My family isn't going anywhere. So why should I leave to go to a place thousands of miles away? Yes, sometimes it is necessary and good, but why should I?

Also, I'm pretty sure I've heard Tim say himself at some point that instead of running, make your own neighborhood better. So he's literally ignoring that by being so adamant about leaving.

Anyone else overly amused by his chickens and his focus on showboating them rather than caring for them? He mentioned at some point in the last couple streams that two of his chicks got sick and he took them to a vet for wormer. That's probably a $100+ vet bill for two $3 chicks (who died anyways) combined with one of the most common and easily diagnosed chicken problems.
