Fun note here for those unaware of this controversy, a large modding site called Nexus Mods had a pretty big shitshow when somebody decided to make a mod for this Spider-Man game where the only functionality was retexturing the pride and BLM flags to be American flags. As per usual, there was a ton of screeching and hysterics from the fetishists online about "literal fascism/genocide" and the site capitulated, removing the mod and banning the creator while issuing an apology statement about it. I remembering reading some discussion about it here on the Farms when it happened, but I don't know which thread that was in now.

Dead by Daylight has pride charms that can be equipped by both survivors and killers.

This makes a lot of sense when you consider how repulsively pozzed the company behind Dead by Daylight is. If I'm not mistaken, BHVR is French-Canadian and has participated in company pride rallies among other weird shit. They've also rewritten certain characters to be gay as an appeal to the LGBT part of their playerbase, and regularly feature disgusting drag queens and troons in their community streams and social media events. Pretty ironic when their flagship title features deranged serial killers chopping people up into bits and hanging them on meat hooks.

The Pride charms tend to get used by a lot of people because they're free and always available. For those unaware, the charms are just small cosmetics that dangle off of your belt as a survivor, and your hooks as a killer. They first released the standard rainbow flag, than they released the rainbow flag with the black/tranny colors added in a few years later, and if I'm not mistaken their latest Pride-based charm is of a rainbow-colored crow (crows are present on every map in the game and are generally important to its imagery.) If I didn't know it was made for fags, I'd actually like the last one a lot. The greatest tragedy of the LGBTwhatever movement gaining so much traction is that you can't enjoy the objectively pleasing rainbow color scheme without people assuming you support castrating little kids.

That aside, my favorite part of this whole thing is when the announcement was made that these Pride items would be added. Most of the playerbase was happy (there really is a shocking amount of gay Dead by Daylight players) but some mentioned that they'd instantly target anyone they saw wearing the gay flag charms for fun. BHVR announced they'd issue bans for this behavior, which is hilarious because rounds of Dead by Daylight are usually 10-15 minute matches with 5 players total. There's no way for them to know if you actually targeted and killed someone because of their Pride charm without a recording, and even then there are only 4 survivors in a match and targeting one right off the bat is pretty damn commonplace. I think they only announced they'd ban for it for the woke ally points, to be honest. In fact, I still don't think I've seen anyone ever officially banned for this behavior, and it's been at least a year and a half since it was announced. If they were actually somehow trying to enforce this as a rule, than people would've been banned for it by now as I know for a fact there is a small contingent of the playerbase that indeed targets players wearing Pride flags.

I don't think this one is fair. She's annoying, but her complaints about men are to overcompensate for being an obvious lesbian. The series had characters that were implied to be gay even in the first game, but Tenko gets a lot of shit for being one of the more annoying and one-note gay characters... and yeah, her obsession with that member of the cast is pretty creepy, though it's treated as a joke and similarly she isn't the first character in the series to have those qualities.

My favorite part of V3 is that the resident robot character is always the butt of "robophobic" comments from the rest of the cast to the point that he's almost a parody of circa-2017 stereotypical SJWs. He's even got voice line in English that verbatim goes "tHaT's RoBoPhObIc!" Even the characters that aren't complete assholes either take pot shots at him now and again or straight up ignore him when he starts whining about discrimination.

This is correct. I believe that part of his character is a soft tongue-in-cheek parody of SJW Tumblr types which the English fanbase of Danganronpa is notorious for attracting. It just gets overlooked more because unlike Tenko with men, he's a much more layered character and doesn't literally spend every second he's on-screen complaining about "robophobia."

In the first game, the only "transgender" character is actually a really wimpy dude who crossdresses because he's so insecure about himself. Unfortunately (or perhaps ironically) he fits the "generic troon anime PFP" to a T. I can appreciate it because there's no way a studio could get away with that kind of thing nowadays (i.e. implying MtFs are just insecure men with low testosterone).

The Twitter-using portion of the Danganronpa fanbase has had the "is Chihiro trans" debate for over a decade at this point. While he does hide his true gender through crossdressing, he does so only due to extreme insecurity about being small and physically weak. Of course, trannies are unable to understand nuance so most of them treat his character as if he's just a "repressed egg with internalized transphobia uwu" rather than a genuinely deep character with a pervasive inferiority complex. If you're interested in reading up on the topic, I believe the OP of the Danganronpa fandom thread covers it quite well.

Anyways, I really wouldn't consider Chihiro an example of tranny wokeness. He crossdresses and presents as a girl but for reasons entirely unrelated to trannyism and "genderfeels/self-expression". Hell, before his untimely death in the first game he actually takes steps to working out and growing stronger to abandon pretending to be a girl in the first place and becoming more confident in himself as a man.

The game was also made in 2011, long before this shit really started infecting everything, and the dev team is Japanese. So, take that as you will.

It's always a little shocking to flip back to older episodes of this show where the cops would regularly joke about troons to the point where they even use the word "tranny" as a descriptor several times. It's nice to be reminded of a time before men in dresses ruled every facet of entertainment and storytelling... Damn, I never knew they were that bad. Most of the work they do is already fucking horrible:

• balancing is so ass that a group of monkeys slamming keyboards could make a more fair experience
• underwhelming content with little effort, like teasing Legion as a killer who can swap between 4 identities, when in reality it was just texture swaps with nothing unique
  • the for honor crossover, where the devs of FH added a whole new game mode with unique models etc., while BHVR added... charms
• cheaters not being taken care of
• hitbox porn all day every day (huntress hatchet is a good example)

I'm glad I left this pile of trash. Most of my games boiled down to: que up -> match starts -> meet the killer -> get tunneled -> get camped on hook -> rinse and repeat

Well, this thread isn't about "good media with current year bullshit in it" (at least not directly), and the reason for why you haven't seen anything good with "current thing" as it's focus is probably because it doesn't exist. The new "Velma" series is likely a good example: it's literally a pozzed Scooby-Doo spinoff centered around a butchered, shitty version of the original cast and it's no coincidence that it sucks ass.

And quality of end product would stay same or improve if they removed it.

To the uninitiated, TW3 was criticized for not having enough diversity. As far as my knowledge goes, the game is heavily based on polish history, culture, traditions, folklore etc., so it makes sense for it to lack the aforementioned "diversity", because Poland was never a diverse country to being with. Therefore, shoving tons of POCs would not make sense in a game that's set in a world in which they were either rare or flat out nonexistent. Would adding niggers make the game worse? Probably, not only because they wouldn't fit the context, but also because we all know none of them would have proper characters, only really existing as a way to tick the "diverse cast" checkbox.

Twisted Fate with Graves were retconned for pride month.

Ekko with Ezreal were retconned with pulsefire.

Sett with Aphelios were retconned for spirit blossom.

Caitlyn with Vi were retconned sometime before arcane. (They still don't have the balls to confirm that one in the series because they want to sell arcane to china lol, but it explains why jinx ditches her sister at the bridge for literally no reason)

Leona with Diana were retconned for pride month. (This one took THREE seperate retcons and they're still claiming it was intended all along)

Varus was retconned with his rework. (This one remains controvertial even today because varus was one of the few characters with actually good lore)

Also, some writers are claiming that Taliyah was meant to be a troon all along so prepare for that.

The Witcher world already has niggers, both of the kang variety and the sand variety. The former from Zerrikania and the latter from Ofier. No Zerrikanians were in the game but there were a handful of Ofieri added in Hearts of Stone. They didn't stand out and they had a reason for being there. They could have had a reason for a couple of Zerrikanians to be in the game and it might have fit but it wouldn't have stopped the screeching. Racial animosity has been a prominent feature of the world and it's funny how at the time, the church of woke cared only about where the darkies at and not the very real racial animus present. No, every other citizen of Novigrad had better be a KANG.

One particular aspect that drives me mad is the OSTs. The NFS series had a good mixture of metal, rap/hip-hop and EDM to accompany each scenario that happened: faster, heavier metal or EDM for races, rap/hip-hop for tuning your car, and some dramatic soundtrack for police pursuits. Similarly, Burnout was filled with metal, rock, punk/pop-punk. And then we have the most recent NFS, that has nothing but SoundCloud rap and whatnot, just to appeal to a larger market. They are scared shitless to use heavier music because most people don't like it, and that could mean less sales, and less money = le bad (yes, I am a metalhead and I'm fucking mad that this genre is less and less prevalent in games when it used to be a fairly common addition, NFSMW and Burnout3 are perfect examples as to why it works)
