Exactly this. He should have had better supports and intervention in place in his teenage years and early 20s. He's too far gone now and is a menace to society and beyond delusional if the jail letters are to be believed. Maybe a few years of inpatient psych care and a group home after the fact, but he has clearly demonstrated predatory behavior. He's right where he needs to be.
You're too kind. Chris is a terrible person with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. The only thing he thinks about is himself, and it's not out of self preservation due to stress or anxiety, it's complete narcissism and entitlement.
Chris was never moving toward anything better. He was just using poor Null, and people like Null were too kindhearted to see what a waste of space Chris is. I'm not just being a pessimist, I am keenly aware of the potential people have. Chris never had any, even if adopted into a family of Mormons, he would have turned out to be another granny raping Josh Duggar.
