Those scummy Idea Guys tricking the idiot out of his money is definitely at the top since the guy is on the verge of losing his home. Yeah, Chris is an idiot for even falling for it, though i truly believe Chris knows the whole moon base laser thing was fake, but he's so starved for human interaction and companionship he went along with it (which makes the whole situation even sadder). I don't hate Chris but i wouldn't want to be friends with the guy, nor pretend to. It's fucking gross to exploit, abuse, and steal from an emotionally and mentally stunted man-child.

It shouldn't be too surprising since he always got over his "relationships" so quickly. I always wondered if him selling Bob's stuff was something he'd thought about for years or if it was spur of the moment. It also makes me wonder what he'll do with Barb's stuff when she passes, if he thinks anything she owns is worth money (and what suckers online will try to 'help' by buying it)

To add insult to injury, Chris literally scoffed at Bob's idea that he could use Sonichu as a mascot for autism (from Bob's letter to Chris; I don't think they talked about it). At the end of the day, Bob still held out some hope that his son could do something worthwhile with his life, only to be insulted by Chris.

The workshop Bob made is a perfect allegory for his relationship with his son. It was celebrated for a few days, then used for storage for all of Barb's junk until it was simply abandoned to rot in the yard.

Getting trolled was probably the closest thing to either Chris getting to play D&D (without realizing it, I don't think he could keep track of how that type of game works? maybe he could?).

Chris would never truly understand how to play a tabletop rpg. Between needing to understand the rules (and adhere to them) understanding how his character would work within the dynamic of the rest of the group, not constantly trying to derail the game with his Merge crap, he'd be a perfect storm of all "that guy" stereotypes every DM has had to deal with at least once. Chris doesn't understand about group storytelling either, he'd do his damndest to make his character (an overpowered Mary Sue naturally) the sole focus of the game as well

Anytime Chris gets really immersed in his self-created unreality thing, he vomits out some art that makes me laugh. When he makes videos--- like the one where he's pretending to be the Easter bunny? It's like watching someone who is REALLY good at psychodrama yet has no idea. He likes to feel feelings, but doesn't have any idea what they mean, so he just accepts it and forgets about it.

Sadness is put in a very different terms for Chris. I think a huge part of why he's like this is because he couldn't speak, but could hear. His parents talked about him in front of him so he was de-contexualized from their conversation, and found other ways to relate to it. They just don't make sense or are rote memorizations.

Chris ARG is worst ARG. But honestly, it borders on one.

Here are some things I do genuinely feel bad for regarding Chris
1. The group of gal pals Chris had during HS only because they felt pity towards him, as well as Bob asking them to hang out with Chris , probably including on his 18th birthday. You can just tell they're there mainly out of obligation rather than a genuine care/friendship towards Chris which I'm sure was painful to discover that your friendships weren't even real
2. Bluespike's trolling, really overboard/cruel especially during that time
3. His disability (he was born with it, clearly wasn't raised well enough to properly deal with it either, I also doubt he is that high functioning by how he cannot really function as an adult whatsoever.
4. how online fuckery probably made him more insane than if he avoided the internet as he insisted he would, clearly was never the case and probably never will be.

The cops must've been been perplexed (an adult traveling cross country), but Borb told them Chris was a tard and feared he was tricked, and they were right. When it was all said and done, Borb threaten Chris by locking him out next time he does that again.

Chris has a semblance of freedom now ironically (according to him, when Bob was alive, Chris had freedom - financial) now Chris can go anywhere, and Barb had lost her power over him by this time.

I know a lot of people say BlueSpike in response to this question, but I don’t think the blame should be placed entirely on BlueSpike. Let’s face it, the original group of trolls was made up of mostly cringy adolescent boys with nothing better to do. Basically the older, more obscure equivalent of those annoying fat white kids who call people the N word on Xbox live. Don’t get me wrong, that little asshole took it way too far and was obviously lacking in parental supervision or adequate discipline, but he was a 13 year old boy being egged on and encouraged to bully Chris by a bunch of older kids. Your average boy at that age will do the unthinkable to leverage their own status with older kids and to seem cool and worthy of respect, even kids you wouldn’t expect that sort of behavior from. Add the anonymity and lack of parental guidance that comes with the internet and the level of malicious intent can be doubled because there’s less risk of repercussions. I guess what I’m trying to say is that the medallion anal incident was a result of the group dynamic and not one specific person, even though he took it too far even by their standards.

If it were a few years later, that might have actually worked.
Anyone who makes the claim that Chris was somehow not at fault for his part in it will easily forget he bullshit his way out of talking to Alec a few times almost a year later.
