Times when you have felt genuinely sorry for Chris

Every time I see the old news interview with him as kid when he won all the sonic merch. I mean you look at him, you know he was diagnosed but wasn't getting the treatment/support he really needed to become a functional adult. Its just a happy kid we all would have been if we won some contest. You end up looking at that small dumb but gleeful face, just some kid that is totally ignorant to the future and what an absolute trash fire his life is destined to become.

when was this?
I think at a Brony con in 2018. From what I read on here, Chris was getting too close and touchy feely with random con goers and was asked to leave. He then couldn't believe that they would ask a godess such as Chris Chan to leave so he went into the fetal position and they had to physically take Chris out of there.

I felt bad about Bluespike thing until I gave it a closer look. I still think it was fucked up and this attempt could've been used better, like if Bluespike sent Chris to give a sincere apology to Snyder, but now I can't bring myself to feel sorry for Chris about it. I mean, how it looks when you first catch a glimpse of what happened? "BlueSpike took Julay hostage and forced Chris to shove his medallion up his ass". What really happened:
  • Chris had to choose between Julay and his PSN account. He choose Julay, but then asked for his account anyway, because "I made the right choice, give it back".
  • Chris yelled "GIVE IT BACK YOU BASTARD" over a fucking PSN account, which surprises me how Bob and Barn didn't know that something was wrong. Yet, I'm not sure he would've yelled that, if they had Julay at gunpoint.
  • Chris tries to show BlueSpike his dick, which scares the hell out of him. Should've forced him to give his account at duck point. Why did he enjoy the last part of all of this, if he was so scared of a dick, is beyond me.
  • Chris screams, that Billy Mays is the mayor of CWCville and Chris was thrown in jail where he was raped BY A BUNCH OF NIGGOS. That had me in stitches.
  • The fact that Chris shoved something up his ass, while knowing perfectly well that Bluespike was recording all of this, FOR A FUCKING PSN ACCOUNT.
  • But you know what killed the last bit of sympathy for me? In the end Chris just contacted tech support and got his account back! He basically didn't have to go through all of this!

He caused it, thus deserved it.

Some time after his death Blue Arms Saga began, so here is your answer.
This is basically the same reason why it's hard for me to feel Sympathy for Chris with the Idea Guys Saga.

I won't deny what they did was fucked-up, but it really should be empathized that Chris went through all of that stuff over fictional shit. He could've ended it whenever he wanted and yet willfully chose not to because maintaining his fantasy world was far more important to him than not becoming some internet retards' personal pet monkey.

The first time Chris called Null and told him about the idea guys. Every time we talk about Barb dying.
The retard was on a call with them for over 9 hours being "threatened" and gave them six grand in cash because he thought they were going to blow up his fictional world with a giant moonlaser, like how could someone be so dense to fall for that nonsensical garbage? Did Chris really not take a hint and learn from the decade of trolling that he was on the receiving end from?

I don't think Chris was loosing his grip on reality that badly, at least back then.

I kinda agree on that. Julay was what, his second- third online sweetheart? Doing stupid shit at that point was somewhat forgivable. But after a decade of trolling? After he was hesitant to send Jackie his oral exercises, because he knew perfectly well, that she can be a troll? After that fucking video getting leaked anyway? And after that he got tricked by ages old "they blackmail you into doing incriminating shit, so they could blackmail you with that incriminating shit afterwards".

And about his fictional world, him getting scared over a bunch of doodles is half the trouble. The other half is that he retconned his fucking comic so many times, that he could just say "actually, that didn't happen", like he did with Simonla, trial and many other things. When Alec "invaded" his fictional world with his comic, Chris just stole his characters and made them figuratively suck his duck, so I really don't get how Idea Guys managed to pull this.

LATE EDIT: Here, just like that, yet he proceeded.

Something tells me, that he wanted to stay in CWCville, he just needed a little push.

Remember, he was also having phone sex with one of them.

I remember feeling deeply saddened during the discussions he had with Lars while watching the documentary series by Samuel. The way he tried to copy Lars' way of speaking was just so innocent and made me feel like I was watching a child trying desperately to pick up on social cues. Sometimes I think Chris could be treated, but I immediately remember how deep within his own grave he dug himself.

Felt sorry for him when his mother wouldn't let him attend his aunts funeral, but at this point I find it hard to feel any kind of sympathy for him, it's just turned into such a massive shit show and his reactions are so extreme and down right halerious he almost deserves what he gets in a way. Hopefully the homelessness saga will end with chris *finally* getting the help he so clearly needs.

This would be me in my super form.. If I uh, if I had powers.

I don't know why, but something about it just makes me feel bad. It feels like a child showing me a shitty drawing and asking me what I feel. Which is ironic, because he literally shows us shitty drawings at the level of a child. I think it might be the whole innocence of it all, and he has no idea how stupid he looks. Maybe it's because he put so much effort into it and it's still shit.
Whatever it is, it makes me feel weirdly bad for him.

Not gonna lie: I'm dying to see Geno Samuel's take on this with his documentary series.

Sorry to double-post. But i went to my first wake when i was 14, and I had to take myself outside because I had trouble holding in my laughter.

His parents were probably right not to bring him to his Aunt's funeral because God knows what his reaction would've been like.

Where did you see that Barb didn't let him go? The only thing I recall Chris saying about his aunt's funeral was that he was hoping it wouldn't be on his birthday because there was a pancake breakfast he wanted to go to.

I think it may have been one of the calls that he had with Julay where Bluespike wanted to get Barb on the phone.
