Got a quote for my new tattoo and while I was at the studio decided to finally get my lip pierced. Between this and dying my hair two-tone purple and red, I feel like I'm going through an all new rebellious teenager phase that I failed to fully experience as an actual teenager.

I'm probably way too old for this shit, but YOLO BITCHES.
 
Today I have a new hole poked in the back of my leg from a rusty screw at work. Considering I can still walk and I already got my tetanus shot from a nail that went into my foot in April, I'm not too worried about it.

Today I have emailed a friend encouraging wors about a job interview, given them pointers on a paper they are writing, and am about to get started on hours of writing.

- worked on my clarinet concerto, which is very very close to being finished
- made a dessert which I have called "Chocolate Disaster" . It was going to be whoopie pies, but they went everywhere when I took them out of the oven because I'm a giant spastic, so I gathered the crumbs and stuck them in a bowl with some chocolate custard and the last of my Maraschino liqueur.

Today I had a lady wank, listened to Maiden's new album, drank cider and swore copiously at the telly while watching a rugby game.

Hung out with my best friend/platonic soulmate/heterosexual life partner one last time before my vacation ends and I fly home.
Started my personal statement for my grad school app.
And yesterday (shut up I'm still counting it for today) I got a new job!

Today I painted the base and body for my Limited Edition Forgeworld Space Marine Centurion. I also based a bog standard Marine and started working on another of my Vanguard Veterans. I contemplated working on my Apothecaries but they're a big job and I couldn't be bothered starting three specialist minis all at once so I just stuck with the Centurion.

I watched the longest nascar race ever with my pop and saw the orange guy do a back flip out of his car when he won. Now me and husbro are chilling out and getting people's facebook accounts removed for fun and profit.
 
Today I have gone into New York City to meet my friend as she travels down to New Jersey. I brought a few small items, as well as some mason jars. She gave me jars filled with soup, I'm returning them filled with Oreos. I wanted to bake but didn't have time.

Penn Station doesn't seem too bad. There are police, troopers, and guardsmen, of course, but it doesn't seem to be more than usual.
