Today I got my driver's license at the ripe age of... my early 30's.
In my defense, I have epilepsy and for a long time, just worked around not being able to drive. I live in an urban area and don't really need to drive. It's also nice never having to be the designated driver.
However a year or so ago, I kinda changed my mind and decided it might be worth it, in case I wanted to ever like rent a car and drive out to the mountains to go camping for a weekend or something.
So I had to get paperwork from my neurologist and jump through a bunch of hoops. But I did it.
I will probably continue to not drive, but I'm glad I got it. I've also kinda been considering getting a Crown Victoria just because they seem neat. But again, probably not as a day-to-day vehicle. I'll probably just stash it in a garage somewhere in the city.
Also lol I had to take driver's ed with the teenagers. Holy shit teenagers today are retarded. Were we this retarded when we were teenagers?
Yes, we probably were. Still tho.
I broke something and needed help fixing it, so I figured I'd ask Reddit. They're good with this sort of stuff, right?
Well I needed to create an account to post a thread, and doing so prompted me with some subreddit recommendations. Damn, I didn't believe it was this bad. It's like the memes you see on /pol/ or whatever, but actually worse. Worse than the soyjack parodies. I must've spent like 10 minutes just staring at some of the comments before snapping out of it and closing that tab for good. Insane to think that place is "mainstream" in the current year.
I installed the reddit app on my phone to occasionally read links from here. Since they're usually related to tranny nonsense, reddit's app keeps suggesting tranny subreddits to me.
At first I ignored them, but then I thought it'd be fun to shitpost (read: post spicy truths) to the subreddits to get banned from them.
Welp, mission accomplished, except the app keeps suggesting the same subreddits to me, the ones I'm banned from. Well fuck, uninstalling this nonsense.
