Today I have... Thread.

Today I have actually posted quite a bit for the first time in a few weeks. This job is eating up a lot of my time.

Sat in a baking hot portacabin watching people who get paid less than me drag rubbish around in the rain and get dirty and wet. Sometimes, just sometimes, I'm happy to be an asshole.

Update on the coffee! She offered to have coffee yesterday but my dad picked me up from college and said we had to go to a funeral. I had to stand her up because I didn't have access to a computer at the time. I asked her if she'd have coffee today. She said she'll think about it. Oh my God, what will happen next?!!?!?

Fixed my 80$ mouse. It's a couple of years old now and the left click has stopped functioning adequately. It would keep dropping the click or double-clicking when I'm only single clicking. Had to take it apart and bend this tiny fucking spring into place and now it clicks like it's brand new.

Had a bizarre dream last night that involved an ex-friend of mine randomly showing up and offering to be friends again, followed by us going to a party with weed and alcohol hosted by a bunch of trumpet players... and also Tyce

Broke my headphones - again.
Smoked too much - again.
Skipped workout due to workload - again.
Skipped NaNoWriMo due to same workload - again.

Started Hours at a school. Mah feet hurt due to my lard ass + dress shoe heels.

I was extremely tired for reasons, so I woke up at 1pm and then collasped back into bed and slept for another hour.

Was out of cigarettes so went out to buy cigarettes.

And then played MMOs.

Not a very productive day.

Things I've learned:

Sleeving 18AWG with paracord sucks when your cable is longer than 1 foot.
EL wire is not bright at all in terms of radiant light.
Molex crimpers scare me.
Alcohol is my friend.

Today I had a particularly heated discussion with my mom's boyfriend over the Syrian crisis. Actually had to go and get myself a stiff drink at one point.

I configured some devices, set up some passwords, created a bunch of VLANs, all that good stuff in a lab simulator all from my memory. I'm ready to retake the Cisco certification either tomorrow or Friday because I'm getting so bored of reviewing and I just have this feeling that I really know this shit better now, though I'll probably watch some review videos on some topics that I wanted to do better on later today just to be sure. I had it scheduled for Sunday but I feel like rescheduling again sooner. I mentioned two weeks ago that I got really close to passing the first time, but those goddamn security questions costed me points that could have helped me pass and it was the one section I did really bad on.

Going to finish some school work after I eat dinner. Still fighting a dying cold.

Put away two baskets of clothes (serious accomplishment for me!)
Pulled out my imported Japanese GB Micro to charge it and play for a bit since it's part of the Mother 3 Box Set and I feel guilty about having such a nice thing and not turning it on every now and again. I've played Mother 3 in English but it was nice to scroll through the sound test and play the music. That and the GB micro screen, while small, is beautiful. Learned that it's dual voltage for 100v and 120v!
Doing the above renewed my resolve to clean out my old GB Pocket/GB Colors and remove corroded batteries and all the assorted funk, which I will tackle when sober.

I got on a nostalgia kick about clear electronics today and remembered how excited I was for my clear purple GB color and clear purple GB Advance and how my clear blue N64 controller is still the superior one over Mr. Multiples' for Perfect Dark.

learnt that some chemical solvents are a pain in the ass to remove.

Filed a complaint at a fast food joint after getting a taste of filing for my dream job. Also woke up with a fucked up old man voice due to laryngitis.

I donated blood and abused clonazepam to keep my HR down enough to pass their exam.
