Today I bought the most depressing thing ever:

Today I went to work, narrowly avoided beating my idiot assistant to death and got a veiled threat from a tattoo artist over Facebook.

Today I went to get my hair done, but my stylist was so sick I left.

I can't be sick.

Today's only really just begun for me.

Yesterday I went out shopping and bought some bits for my niece's birthday (which isn't til July, but there's something I saw which I had to buy there and then, because I knew that if I didn't it'd be gone come July).

Went to a random thrift store that had a bunch of military surplus stuff marked down to 50% off. I bought two entrenching tools for $7 each, a Hungarian helmet for $6, a German snow camouflage poncho for $4, and a Dutch army bandanna for 50 cents. Also found a Nalgene bottle for $3.

I got my Id renewaled since i turned 21 last month and ate some bbq with my mom.

Also I spent my whole afternoon looking for my wallet. It was under my grandmother's bed.

Today I had to put down one of my dogs. She'd been doing poorly, and we scheduled an appointment for the weekend, but she decided today was the day.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Today I'm setting up lights in my school's theatre.

Damn, sorry to hear that. My parent's dog had to be put down last year. It's still so weird to come back home and realize he isn't there anymore...

Found out the inventory system I was working on for my game didn't save, so yesterday was for nothing...

I went to the gym with my older sister and we work out together. It was nice

I also made nachos with my little sister when she got home from school.

Today I have done fuck all.

Yesterday, however, I went to see Beauty and the Beast with a friend. I actually really enjoyed it, however I prefer the original animated one.

I pulled my 4 Slice Acorn Kinetic RISC PC out of long term storage only to find that the CMOS battery had detonated all over the main board. I now have to replace it, clean the main board and then reassemble the whole thing and hope it works. For reference a RISC PC is built in slices. If you want to expand the machine you add a slice to the top of it making the machine taller. This means that any basic task like say, connecting an IDE cable to the controller involves an hour and a half of dismantling the entire machine piece by piece until you mine your way down to the board at the very bottom. It is, in short, a ball-ache. For those of you wondering why? Well this machine is an almost irreplaceable piece of computing history, it's original owner was an enthusiast who sunk tons and tons of money and time into it and I think I owe it to computing history to repair and preserve it. Also maybe when I replace the CMOS use a removable solution so if I store it again this doesn't reoccur.
