Today I have... Thread.

I've been going through a lot of old hard drives and stuff, and I found one today where I used to save a bunch of old lolcow stuff. Most stuff in it dates from 2009-2011, but there's some stuff as late as 2013. I got really excited, because I thought I found a copy of the legendary video where Pixyteri cries on Tinychat and eats an entire cookie cake by herself on her birthday, but it was something else, so now I'm sad. :(

Everything else seems like stuff that's publicly available.

Today I listened to both of my housemates whine and bitch about each other at length. If they get their lazy arses into gear this afternoon and actually do the respective allocated chores that they both complain about the other not doing, I can take some photographs and start looking for a third housemate. Then when that's finally successful I'll have three people complaining at me all the fucking time. Won't that be nice?

Today, I have decided to get back into reading some good fiction books that are considered to be the best of the best. I didn’t really get that too deep into fiction when I was younger, since I think it was because I only read the elite approved, play-it-safe like fiction.

Anyway, I’ll start slow and read things like American Psycho and Fight Club, and get into reading titles like Starship Troopers and Catch-22.

Today, I have learned that my internet outage that lasted for nearly 24 hours had nothing to do with the bad weather in my area that knocked out power or internet for many. Instead, I lost internet because my modem decided to abruptly stop working. I found out by chance when I decided to swap it out with a spare one I have as an emergency backup.

Given my ISP's "official" replacement modems are $100 or more and barely last 2-3 years at a time before abruptly failing, I'll save my money and use my backup modem instead because it seems more reliable and it has more and better features the ISP ones don't.

Today, I have walked into a spider web that was spun from my front door on my return home from work. It freaked me out at first but after stepping away, pulling the web from my hair and inspecting my door frame, I'm happy to discover that it was only a cellar spider. The spider may continue living; I just hope he picks a better spot for his next web.

This is something I recommend to everyone: At some point in your life you should eat some spiderweb. Just so you know what it's like. I'm not going to spoil it.

Today, I have found that the spider web has returned to my doorframe by way of almost walking face first into it and that it was not the cellar spider that I previously thought it to be. I took an alternate entrance inside so I may take a couple pictures of it:

The spider and the web has since been removed will no longer cause me any problems.
