He doesn't delete tweets often, but he'll just move on to ineffectually brown knighting the next damsel or tranny in distress he can find. I don't think he's the perpetual virgin others in the thread seem to, and there's always a new E-thot or OF model needing validation. It's a banner year on the tubernets, Spoony occasionally put out content, IA had only flounced once so far, Bro Team Pill wasn't inexplicably banned from everywhere, and free speech on Twitter and Youtube still mostly existed. If you're a lolcow chronicleer, Chris was still unironically entertaining, though his star was setting. But for the sake of our study, let's say you were a fan of Channel Awesome at the time, either liking one specific creator or a group of them.

Now imagine, apropos of nothing, Team Nostalgia Chick - a group comprising Lindsay Ellis, Kyle Oancitizen, Dan Olson, and Todd in the Shadows (to name a few) suddenly starts making a lot of noise again. Perhaps you learned of them after their involvement with getting Spoony sent to the gulag with Obscuras Lupa, or perhaps you were blissfully ignorant of their actions up till this moment, but now they're making a shitload of fuss over someone who isn't a CA content creator, and are demanding every other creator on the website side with this individual over some nonsense happening in a completely different corner of the 'net, or you fucking hate women.

They literally, out of nowhere, demanded an entire site back Zoe Quinn because TNC knew her IRL. Olson financially supported her, Ellis was a long-time associate, and the various other members of TNC (and later, Chez Apocalypse) were also long-time acquaintances. All of this was specifically done to try to do damage control for Quinn. Some creators, faced with this shit, such as Count Jackula and Diamanda Hagan, immediately asked why anyone should give a shit about someone who wasn't on the platform, and were basically given no answer. Others, such as Brad Jones, wisely fucked off and stayed well the fuck away from it. A few brave ones like Larry Bundy knew exactly what was going on and told TNC to go fuck itself. Unfortunately, much of CA, including Andrew Dickman and Angry Joe, wound up bending the knee. When a lot of people on the site understandably called foul on it, Dan Olson and Kyle Oancitizen proceeded to drive a gigantic ideological rift down the website's middle and essentially began the factioning that would cause Channel Awesome to disintegrate down the line.

If you're a casual observer, this probably seems surreal to you, that so many people would willingly line up to defend someone whose greatest accomplishment is creating a game that is JPATG fodder. The reason they did was that this was part of a massive, sweeping defensive strategy. When the Zoe Post broke, and Quinn stood accused of having been financially supported by people who covered her work review-wise, Quinn pulled all the goalies and every connection she had to try to get the scandal locked down - one of those just happened to be Team Nostalgia Chick on Channel Awesome. Shit covering Quinn was disappearing from Reddit, Twitter, and even 4chan at the time.

Todd was in full "useful idiot" mode at this time and was skirmishing with GG supporters on Twitter while very bravely declaring that anyone criticizing Blowey Zoe was evil incarnate. He was but a light fart before Dan Olson (who created all of three videos the year he joined Channel Awesome, one of which was about GG, and spent the rest of the year sperging about it, leading to Mike Michaud having an outbreak of common sense and firing his ass) and Kyle Oancitizen (who was actually toxic enough to get locked down on CA on a few occasions). The entire group was so bad that nobody was remotely sad to see them go, since most of them had put out about as many videos as post-crisis Spoony since GG began.

Lindsay herself never directly entered the Autism Holy War, until she showed she was intimately involved with it during the #ChangeTheChannel incident, where she tried to state that Olson was fired for his "investigative journalism" and that Michaud had somehow been in the wrong for firing Dan Olson for breach of contract. Todd continued to be an unpleasant faggot, and despite his relentless white knighting, would ultimately wind up on the outside looking in, much as Olson did.

The other Todd moment of drama was his indirect involvement in the Kyle Kallgren/Jourdain Searles/Dany Roth (Lina Morgan) drunk kiss incident that got some air during Lindsay's Raya shellacking.

This missing part of this is that most of it is a deflection from what actually cost Dany "Lina Morgan" Roth the clout he was developing at that time-- his own big mouth. He'd been doing podcasts and reviews for Syfy up until then, but in March of 2019 he got a lot of negative publicity for spouting off about why media say unwarranted nice things to keep the access pipeline open (archive). The drama with Jourdain was right around the same time or just after he'd gotten a flood of scathing articles repeating what he'd said and putting his professional reputation in shambles.

Dany often spoke on the Song vs Song podcast about how shitty his childhood was, getting shitkicked for being an effeminate babyjew in New Jersey on the regular. In the episode about Pearl Jam's Jeremy, he went into some detail about it, and in the early podcast episodes he frequently made reference to his attraction to men and his bisexuality. Now he's an asexual trans and his wife Raven is a they/them who has a book club podcast with Nella.

If anything, trooning out and getting loud about this drama is good for his career. Nobody listened to the podcast for him, just Todd, and Dany's now talking about preparing for a GFM to raise money for FFS and other purely surgical tranny-means since his Crohn's apparently makes taking titty skittles a no-go (archive). Testosterone helps soothe the Crohn's (though he wants more research on the matter). His self-loathing is nothing new.

And the drama

Yes. It's Dany Roth, who officially trooned out last year (but has been about that ace tranny life for a long time while married to a they/them theater girl) and now goes by Lina Morgan. He's been a hanger-on to the Chez Apocalypse crowd for a decade and was getting some traction as a podcaster and movie commentator on SyFy when he publicly sperged about giving positive reviews to movies in exchange for access and derailed his own career. He still does a fair few podcasts as a sad semblance of a livelihood, including and most prominently Song vs Song with Todd, but his reputation in the industry is shit even though he wasn't wrong in claiming "everyone does it".

He was also sort-of-cancelled when Kyle Kallgren's ex-fiancee Jourdain Searles claimed Dany sexually assaulted her by kissing her at a party when they were drunk. She also fancies herself a movie critic and professional Strong Disabled Black Woman so she accused not just Dany but that entire clique of Dany, Todd, Lindsay, Beth Elderkin and their cronies from Gawker Media and CA of being racists covering up her abuse. It caused Kyle to defend his lady love and lose that entire friend group, while Jourdain made shady comments whenever she could about how terrible they all were. When Lindsay was getting flamed over the Raya Incident, Jourdain brought it up again and it did get more attention, to the point where both Dany and Todd released longass Google docs (Todd and Dany) about what really happened from their point of view.

So after being cancelled twice, he trooned out and changed his name despite having a unisex one in the first place. But you can't escape your past. As a 40+ year old man, he's kind of grown up enough to see why cancel culture is bad but not enough to not make that statement All About Him. He also never shuts the fuck up on the podcast, constantly bitching about queer shit in media.

Anyway, short answer: yes, that's a guy.

She claims in the video that a lot of Depp supporters are bots, that Heard is innocent because she never sued Johnny, claims BPD is a sexist diagnosis, claims Depp's lawyers are using gamer gate tactics(lmao), claims that there's a lot of biphobia against Amber and finally claims other people aren't using critical thinking with this case which is defiantly true, but incredibly ironic for her to say given this whole video and her reaction to the Vaush/Kat Blaque situation.
