Todd is one of the few music YouTubers I like because he isn't a music snob like Anthony fantano and he isn't a shity news outlet like gunise
And not quite as afraid to offend as micthesnare is, who once used the word handicapable to describe someone with a disability.

Although a quick search on Brave tells me he's already in cancel territory with that one:

I would not give Todd credit for that. "Handicapable" at one time was the (proto) SJW term for "Handicapped"/"Disabled".
Depending when Todd said it he was either behind the times, or it would be a case of "Reee you said this decades ago when it was okay but it isnt anymore".

I don't remember Todd ever saying it, it was Mic The Snare. The video can't have been that old (think it was his Glee one which is from about two years ago), but MTS always seems at pains to show how woke he is in his videos, so I was surprised to find his word of choice has already moved into problematic territory.

He really doesn't give a shit about his face being out there anymore. From Lindsay's instagram:

Well, when Blip died, and the first wave of producers left TGWTG, I think that a lot f people stopped committing to bits 24/7. And even then, I think only Linkara ever took this whole kayfabe esque persona crap beyond just some video gimmick.

Also, if memory serves, Todd only did the shadows thing because 1. He liked how it looked on camera, and 2. He was in a position in his life where he didn't want folks to know he made videos. Now that he's at a point where he can support himself talking about music, point 2 no longer applies.

I was not expecting this...
I wonder if he feels like he's close to hitting the wall on OHW and Trainwreckords. And he's said many times that he doesn't 'get' a lot of current popular music so maybe he's struggling on that front too? I wonder if he wants to branch into other areas.

I liked his Cinemadonna thing and think there's potential for him to do more things like that.

Didn't much enjoy the bus video. It reeks of low effort. I understand why he did it. No real research needed so a lot less work required. Just find 10 buses from the 90s and make up some bullshit reasons to rank them. The problem is most interesting part of his videos is the research he does. Even in his pop music reviews. I don't keep up with pop music but it was still interesting to learn about some of the modern pop artists.

1. Like is not a charming affectation in speaking as a space filler and even less so in writing as an entirely unnecessary filler word. Stop that.
2. Maybe don't assign character and personality traits on the basis of immutable characteristics like sex, sexual orientation and race. Why would a movie which is essentially a character study not invite understanding of its protagonist, a talented and deeply flawed person? Maybe it's his own expectations of how a straight white male character would act and be written compared to a lesbian white woman of equal brilliance which are the problems here?
3. Have you considered ever in your life, Todd, that you may in fact be wrong? Building expectations of people based on idpol and identity check boxes is a foolish and inaccurate way to understand others.

Moving to California has rotted what remained of his brain after NYC. This is the sort of guy who uses a progressive checklist when looking at Tinder to make sure he doesn't dip his wick in problematic pussy. Never follow people on Twitter istg.

Didn't he want to become a Scientologist too?

Nah, I think if anything, it was a bit while covering L Ron Hubbard.

Here’s the trailer for that film by the way.

Yeah, I know it was a joke and his YouTube/BreadTube ties won't help his admission. Sorry for the autisim

On his Bus video ( watched after unsuscribing) it was really, really low hanging fruit for him and random because of the 2-Parter of "Top Ten Worst Songs of 1991". The best for him is a fucking break imo for the juices to get flowing and not Tweet about movies.

I'm a fan of Staind and Aaron Lewis so let's just say I didn't really agree with this video
Remember Todd doesn't like him because of his political views.

Seriously has he ever said anything nice about musicians who disagree with him.

I mean I don't like Paul McCartney's leftie views. But I still love his music and if you had me review his songs I would have nothing but praise.

He definitely doesn't like his political veiws which is not surprising but Todd also complains that Aaron Lewis is trying really hard to sound country
"but it never really sounds right it's just not what they know how to do but they're not really trying to be conurty aaron lewis is"
I don't really think that's the point of his music he just making the music he is passenate about which just so happens to be conurty now

Don't really get Todd's complaints. Many musicians over the years have change their tunes for whatever reasons
For instance I always thought post Beatles Ringo Starr sounded different in tune than when he was in the Beatles.

Also the Beatles themselves change there sound over the years as well and they still made good songs
