I have watched Todd's content for an embarrassingly long time, but only in the last 6 months or so has he bored me to indifference. A large part of that has been his Kendrick/Drake monomania. And he's been late with the last two videos, too. The guy has been coasting on ~ $96k/yr in Patreonbux since 2022 plus his other passive income streams and clearly doesn't give a shit anymore.
Honestly, Todd should just know better at this point and stick to pop music. I get the feeling he hops in on these debates because he's starting to feel too old to do what he's doing.
You think he’s trying to shift away from video making in favor of doing Song vs Song practically full time?

I've been watching Todd since 2013 and the only other hyperfixation of his I can remember is the Will Smith thing, but I feel like even that was briefer than this one. It's just all so tiring. I miss the old Todd so much. And yes his videos being late pisses me off.

He's been open that he's all about the money, full stop, and SvS doesn't pay enough for his to do it full time. The Patreon is usually around $2k/mo pre-tax, with a quarter of that going to Paw for editing and and Dany probably getting the lions share of the rest because he's a tranny who can't hold down a real job. Todd's just gotten lazy.

EDIT: Oh my God, he mentions Drake in this too. Let it fucking go, dude.
He spends most of the video psychoanalyzing Durst, claiming that he's clearly an insecure loser and how he's desperate to fuck random famous women, and just retreading behind-the-scenes drama instead of actually dissecting the godawful music instead. This was just bargain bin Behind the Music. A 40 minute video and I came away learning nothing about the album except that it was a mess and terrible. Which I could've guessed by the fucking Limp Bizkit logo on the cover.

The more he lives in Lose Angeles the more of an insufferable, retarded gayfag he becomes. Love Beach episode never.

True. I'm surprised that he didn't even tackle the third most well-known thing about the songs from that album which was the song that says "as a kid" and "as a man" over and over.

I’ve never really cared for Trainwreckords (mostly because the premise never really interested me), but that summary really makes me feel like Todd released a dud.

Is things really going to get to the point where I’m only going to watch his One Hit Wonderland episodes? (Even though it’s been established by @Ninon42 that there’s no real edge either way in the question about whether it’s talking about modern music or old material that does a better job of brining in revenue).

Love Beach episode never
Are you talking about the ELP album? I don't think Todd should review art rock bands, it's not the premise of the channel.

This episode was very weak indeed. He only reviewed two songs from the album, and one of them is a classic meme song. I left the video without understanding why this album was considered so bad after all, and at the same time not curious enough to check it out myself.

It's not that hard to figure out, Todd.
I don't get why it's baffling to people that Steve Harwell drank himself to death. The guy watched his infant son die painfully and slowly of terminal cancer and never got over it.

If anything, being forced to sing cheerful pop rock songs to an audience filled with families and children singing and dancing along probably ate at the gaping wound within him more than some brooding artist singing about their mental scars.
I swear, he's just being autistic at this point. It's like his brain only accepts that artists like Trent Reznor or Kurt Cobain can suffer for their art.

Todd is very, very wrong for thinking that Reputation is Taylor's least popular. Everyone I know has that album in their top 5 or even top 3.
I'm pretty sure that album's era is when the core of her current fanbase started reading too hard between the lines of her music to try and psychoanalyze her so they can relate more to the billionaire musician who grew up in a mansion with a studio. And Todd's gotta be experiencing some form of memory loss because he was there when people's opinions started turning on her while her core fanbase grew more parasocial and reverent towards her.

It's practically a career turning point for her like Jesus is King was for Kanye or Scorpion was for Drake (both bad but the Kanye comp seems more apt)
