As a result, new downloads, player registrations and purchases will no longer be available. Season 3 will still launch, so stay tuned for more updates to come. The servers will remain active, and the game will be fully playable until June 3rd, 2025.

For those who purchased the Ultimate Founders Pack, you will receive a full refund. Additionally, players who have made VC and DLC purchases since November 3rd, 2024, will also be fully refunded. That video reminded me that XDefiant existed AND today is currently its last day before shutdown.

I couldn't imagine spending any money on XDefiant's cosmetics; many of them looked bland and cheap. It was fine up until the issues with desync, movement exploits and lack of meaningful progression ruined any longevity to stick around. I'd say wasted opportunity since CoD now has those same issues as a PREMIUM product no less.

It was doomed from the start trying to compete with CoD and being a Ubisoft product. At least it was something to try.
