Actually, that's where he's wrong. Back in the 1990s when Bill Clinton was in office, Saturday Night Live had a Wayne's World sketch that made lewd comments about Chelsea Clinton. Hillary wasn't pleased and now they're not allowed to rerun that part.

People should want movies to be good when they are willing to pay for it, no one will care if a movie is good or not if they have no interest in watching it. And the Emoji movie failed to even hold high expectations, so of course no one will want it to be good.

It is the same shit with GhostBuster 2016, people won't pay for it because they think it is bad, no one should pay up the ticket just for a benefit of a doubt for the film.

Why would anyone draw fan art of this disgusting, greasy slob? He looks like a sex offender. He even looks greasy in pencil sketches of him.

I hope at least some of those people are taking the piss. For instance, that person drawing him about to eat a whole stick of butter and drink beer.

My oldest son, who will be 9 next month and is firmly in the target audience for this late-term abortion of a movie, even thinks the Emoji Movie looks like lazy shit. Little Dude loves memes, but when the ads for the movie started running he informed Mrs. Dude and I that he thought the movie looked stupid and asked "Why don't they make good movies anymore?" I reminded him that they still make decent films sometimes, reminded him of the new Star Wars movies because he loves them, but told him that it's easier and cheaper to make lazy scrap than it is to put a lot of effort into something because that means hiring talented, highly-qualified people from the writers to the director to the actors, and they cost more. Besides, Hollywood knows that most people will watch whatever garbage is put in front of them.

Actually, when you think about it, everything I just said about Hollywood making lazy, low-effort garbage and people watching whatever is put in front of them explains Tony and his fan base pretty accurately.

On the one hand you're right, but on the other, it was more about protecting Chelsea than herself (leave us not forget that at the time she was still a kid and not yet another Clinton grifter with all the personality of a bowl of tapioca pudding). But that's not the point. Current SNL did a fucking funeral march when Hillary lost. They were never going to go after her with any teeth.

Exactly. Hollywood's political bias is so obvious that they aren't even trying to obscure it. There was a time not-too-long ago where they at least tried to obscure their political leanings, or at least not be blatantly overt about it, so as not to alienate viewers who may not share or care about their views. But now? The gloves are off, they're all out of fucks to give, and they're going to ram those political views right down the throats of anyone and everyone they can. And of course Tony and people like him are glad they are.

Leftist "intellectuals" like Tony view your average American like ignorant children who need to be spoon-fed everything via pop culture and education. It's the same kind of propagandized indoctrination that dictatorships have used for ages, from the Nazis to the Soviets to the ChiComs. People like Goldjew see themselves as the educated elite few who will lead, coerce, or force the ignorant unwashed masses to "a better tomorrow" and will be viewed by history as the architects and constructors of a utopian society...just as soon as they get rid of Trump and those damned Nazi Republicans.

The great Tony fan art just reminded me that he looks like a fatter version of Tamarlover.

Also, where's Tony's review of the Emoji Movie? He's been moaning about people being too harsh on it for several months now, you'd think he'd go see it to check if people really are just being overly critical. Put your money where your mouth is, and defend the film if it isn't that bad.
