Want me to take this crap down?
Don't know if this has been posted yet, Haven't seen the thread but I'll take it down if asked.
If you are or aren't, I'm pretty sure most people are... There is this very arrogant, self-centered, furry loving, clickbait master who starts fights. Drama among his fanbase. And engages in arguments on twitter with people commonly to make himself look smart, only to make him look more of an ass.
He uses various clickbait to ward in views, this is around the period he had 100~300k views, which people have figured out by now to not click on his videos as they are all overhyped hot garbage.
Bashes on other Youtubers when he can't get his way, and rumor has it he 'steals' vidoes, which I can't confirm yet.
First off he hates being called by his name you must address him by his furrified middle name. https://twitter.com/verliswolf/status/739869385280475137?lang=en
Not only that, but along with his videos his clickbait tactic involves calling out hackers and bitching constantly about the VGC's rules.
Funnily enough he even made a tutorial of how to hack Ditto's...
He has been raging out at multiple people on twitter if they disagree with him or say anything to trigger him. He believes he is always right, and there is no fault to what he says on a daily basis.
https://twitter.com/Verliswolf/status/819605805196378112 (Gets his fanbase to go burn someone trying out his ditto trick.)

https://twitter.com/Verliswolf/status/819488552136413184 (Won't accept someone is just better than him at the game.)
Claims someone to be a SJW, when he's the one engaging in arguments online yada yada, https://twitter.com/Verliswolf/status/819287338287124480
And even makes a statement saying it's not hacking, But finding something to cover up his stronghold because his pride won't allow him to be wrong... https://mobile.twitter.com/verliswolf/status/646039424376029184
People on GameFAQs have made topics about him, and can find it on a bunch of Pokemon Boards if you dig they are all in a chain.

Finally, Two people stepped up and made a two-video series about this little lolcow, pointing fingers at him and telling their fanbases how he's taking stuff too far.
(I've heard rumors he actually wears collars in public.)
**BONUS FURRY GROWNMAN**
Verdict: Just a furry on the internet wanting to steer up Drama and needs his views back seeing as when his reign ended and people lost interest and unsubbed everyone is an idiot who disagrees with him.
Famous Quote: "I love the Pokemon Community, It's my life."
It's just a game man, don't take it too seriously!
I mean, what did you expect? Not that anti-SJWs are inherently sexist, but I see a lot of Sargon of Akkad videos in his recommended sidebar when he's watching other YouTube videos. I think that a lot of the Poketubers end up being sexist because they're so good at deflecting pussy they have little to no experience with healthy, adult relationships with women outside of their mothers or other relatives. But then you have people like Tamashii Hiroka who rant about how sexist Lopunny and Bunnelby are because they fit some sort of incredibly contrived gender stereotypes. She might actually have had a point if both Pokemon were gender exclusive (all female and male, respectively) but they're not. They're just incoherent ramblings concocted around the fact that she doesn't like the more humanoid Pokemon designs.Verlisify continues to entertain me with his sexism. Every opponent that ever comes up in his videos that's a girl has the misfortune of being called a dude anyway by him lol
There's a lot of that in the Pokemon community I've noticed, and it would be hilarious to see a Manosphere thread dedicated to sexism among Pokemon players because it's a fucking goldmine. The Pokemon community's sexism rivals its autism and may even surpass it. I remember a while back seeing someone complain about getting a female Red Gyarados because they can't picture a huge, destructive, male-looking Gyarados as a female. And then tried tacking onto the post "I hope I don't sound too sexist or anything" lol
To be fair a good amount of male players do choose a female avatar, but there's also a substantial female playerbase, too. (I noticed around 1 out of ever 4 male players in local VGC tourneys use female avatars, but lots of girls play, too.) It's really odd that he would assume all Pokemon players are male.@Potions Master I asked Verlis in a Youtube comment why he is calling female opponents guys using male pronouns. One of his fanboys jumped in to spout off the classic Pokeman mantra that "most of the girls are just guys who picked female avatars", I asked him if denial is all that's left of his manhood because he can't handle losing to girls, and Verlis deleted the whole comment string. LOL
Probably break his mind to learn that I and several other girls I know who play tend to choose male avatars, chances are he's lost to a lot more chicks than he realises.@Potions Master i know, but the male players picking the girl avatars should be mistaken for girls, not the other way around. but that won't ever happen in the Pokemanosphere.
it's probable that the words "sexism" and "sexist" are auto flagged too, yeah. Antonio can't risk having his personality flaws exposed!
There's only a few videos online of him actually playing Pokemon at all. I'be never actually seen him win at a battle against another person. Even against AI, he seems to struggle. His "Fan Friday" videos are just him narrating over random people's battles, never his own. His videos are the all incredibly low effort, designed for maximum clicks and ad revenue. Usually no video editing involved. Just him complaining or narrating over footage of gameplay or a news story. That's a really great OP. If tyere wasn't a thread I was gonna make one since he's gotten very "controversial" since his view count went down. Here's a couple things I didn't notice while looking at the OP (maybe I missed them):
Verlisify treats anybody who doesn't agree with him like shit. Even when his fans say they don't care about cheating he does things like call them a problem and cancer on the community. This is very unprompted since these people don't use personal attacks against him. This is generally seen in the comment section on his anti cheating videos.
He also has a huge hate boner for cheating. This is in the OP but I'm going to offer a few examples.
He says lack of time isn't an excuse because he bred Pokémon when he also worked two jobs. Something that's important to note is that he doesn't breed a lot of his Pokémon. Some of his friends do it for him.
Powerlevel but I bred hundreds of Pokémon with just friend safari Ditto in X before Pokegenning was available in Gen VI and it's completely understandable that people don't want to spend 6+ hours breeding.
Verlisify also uses and Arduino computer as a bot to AFK farm 4+ IV Ditto but says since the Ditto are actually in the game "it's not cheating and doesn't give him an advantage over people not botting". So much for him putting in time to be a proud legit player.
Verlisify is an incredible egotist. He calls himself the top Pokémon YouTuber in terms of popularity and believe the "haters" are just jealous of him. He also says anybody who makes a video of him or says anything critical is lying and making false facts to try to brainwash people into hating him. He also says that anybody who makes a video with similar information to his is stealing his content for views, despite him getting all of his information from Serebii and the Pokémon subreddits.
A couple years ago he said he tried to collaborate with Thejwittz and some other big Pokémon YouTubers but they turned him down because of his "reputation". Any bad reputation he has is all on him for personally attacking anybody who disagrees with him and shitting on people who like Smogon and not VGC rules. And perhaps some genuinely entertaining people didn't want some annoying obnoxious self centered douche making the video(s) all about him and fucking up their content.
He hasn't really battled in videos since 2013 or 2014. He did occasional battle streams he called "Battle Gauntlets". It is entertaining to see him freak out over other people reporting the same information though. Since they're obviously "stealing" his content and totally not going on Reddit like he does. There's only a few videos online of him actually playing Pokemon at all. I'be never actually seen him win at a battle against another person. Even against AI, he seems to struggle. His "Fan Friday" videos are just him narrating over random people's battles, never his own. Late reply but the holo in those is a 1/3 chance. The older Sun and Moon boxes had 30 boosters and every 3rd booster was a guaranteed holo. 1/8 is actually very suspect if they don't shuffle the boosters assuming that they just grab a buyers packs at the same time and don't grab random packs from the box.I mean, what did you expect? Not that anti-SJWs are inherently sexist, but I see a lot of Sargon of Akkad videos in his recommended sidebar when he's watching other YouTube videos. But back to Verlisify. I don't know if I have time to do it now, but there's been multiple dramas and controversies since this thread became inactive. One of the most prominent was his spat with a Pokemon card supplier called CCG Castle.
Just a little background: it was discovered by numerous individuals that the new Sun and Moon cards can be "mapped out" and a pattern can be discovered for which packs contain ultra rare cards. This means that buying individual packs loose from retailers can be a bad deal and they can be stripped of some or all rares like holos. Verlisify decided to test some of the major online retailers (including CCG Castle) by taking their name and logo and putting SCAM in giant letters across it in his videos. Typical Verlisify-clickbait style.
Here we can note that he only bought eight packs of cards. I'm not sure if Verlis understands how the law of probability works, but it's NOT a large enough sample size to make any assumptions about mapping at all. He gets 1 holo out of 8 packs when the average (according to him, anyway) is 2 out of 8 packs containing a rare card. So, did Antonio (Verlis's real name, which, by the way, he HATES to be called, so don't do it, guys!) claim that he might have just had bad luck, and that this is far, far from confirmation that this vendor is definitely mapping packs? Of course he didn't. He didn't even remember if he shuffled the packs or not, and did absolutely no research to see if CCG Castle themselves shuffles the packs before shipping.
Well, this video understandably upset the guy who runs CCG Castle. He approached Antonio on Twitter saying he's never mapped packs and that his video was a very serious accusation and amounted to slander. He was pretty polite about it first. He offered to meet Antonio in person over coffee and talk it over like adults. He offered him a free tour of his warehouse, which is less than an hour away from where Antonio lives. He politely asked him multiple times to please change the thumbnail and stop defaming him and his family's business and livelihood. So did Antonio take him up on any of his offers? Of course he didn't. But he couldn't just stop there. He made yet another video using CCG Castle's logo with the word THREATS superimposed over it saying he was being threatened because CCG Castle, exhausted of all other alternatives, finally told him he would pursue legal action against him because of his video.
I really don't know what to say other than I feel really badly for this guy. Watching the Twitter back and forth my stomach sank because I knew that Antonio would never admit wrongdoing and that by trying to talk to him about his behavior would only lead to more escalation and threats from Antionio "Verlisify" Gatto. I didn't investigate further but I can only assume Antonio took the next step and blocked CCG Castle on all social media platforms.
There's other shit he's done, but this post is long enough. I'll get to it in a second, later post.
He would never use it because it would involve switching out. He has stated that he "has better luck when he doesn't switch out." It doesn't take someone who is even literate in Pokemon to understand that unilaterally never using a such vital component to battling in any and all strategic planning whatsoever is a terrible and downright idiotic decision. Switching involves out-thinking and out-predicting an opponent, a fundamental of competitive play in any game. Something that is apparently well beyond his mental capabilities.Sorry for the :powerlevel: but it pisses me off how this utter garbage players go cry when a cancerous, uninspiring, repetitive and boring strat gets removed improve the state of the main competitive meta. BP should've been removed years ago and it's not like Verlisify ever succesfully exploited it or is even able to do so.
He actually participated in his first real tournament few years ago, take a wild guess on how it went.Hell, is there any evidence he actually plays Pokemon at all, aside from some playthrough footage? He might have stolen it.

I once watched this guy let his own Pokemon, under the effects of confusion and attract, slowly beat itself to death in a battle against low-level AI because he just wouldn't switch. It was like watching someone slowly die from smoke inhalation during a fire while they repeatedly pull on a door handle with the word PUSH clearly written on it. All the while blaming hackers in competitive tiers he doesn't even touch. Hell, is there any evidence he actually plays Pokemon at all, aside from some playthrough footage? He might have stolen it.
To make more your point more clear, not switching can sometimes be a smart way to outsmart/outpredict your opponent, and some players use that as mind games, but when you have a temporal status candition or facing against any kind of strategic time bomb, not switching is the exact equivalent of...Confused, attracted, doesn't switch? *autistic screeching*
For the Pokemon illiterate, not only does switching allow you to take full advantage of getting good matchups, the status effects of confusion and attraction GO THE FUCK AWAY if you switch out. As Potions Master already said, he basically suicided himself.
