Also, a friend of mine got into an argument w/ Verlis, and Tony said he played with the cancer kid and that nobody has anything on him. Let's prove the lolcow wrong.
 
Yeah, dude posts way too many videos for me to find that chick he was talking about. Chances are he was lying anyway with the way he spoke about women, but it would have been fun to revisit her. Ah well.

As far as hoping he blows up, I'm not too hopeful. He's an asshole and a drama whore, but I don't think he actually causes direct harm to anyone from what I've seen. I mean. Unless you count the stress from drama.
Still worried about that dog though.

Once the blowout of Pokemon Let's Go happens due to the immense backlash and fan demand for something different, he'll go apeshit. He really loves to give this sense of superiority as if he's the better man for merely liking a video game over others. The guy is gonna crash, burn, and then be like Leafy where he'll die because he just can't do it anymore.
Like Joe Merrick said, he is blind by his own smug aura. No matter what anyone tells him, he's ALWAYS in the right. NEVER in the wrong. That's the huge problem about Verlis. He doesn't know when to stop and step back and think he's at fault because everyone else is.

EDIT: I wonder if we could probably make him blow a gasket if we got in contact with Mister Metokur over this. Verlis is a fan of his, and yet, he's the exact person he'd be after. A Nazifur Pokemon player who legit thinks he's always in the right.

considering how much bad press Let's Go has, and the only argument I've seen so far was "it's for kids lol", I would love to see this game fail.

I think it's built for Pokemon Go players. Uses the same mechanics from what I have been told. It makes a lot of sense from a business standpoint, as it is a chance to draw some of the Go players into the main series by giving them a taste for actual gameplay. It's a spinoff to capitalize on a huge potential market of mobile phone users that loved Go, adding connectivity between the two was genius.

Verlis screaming about everybody being pedophiles is going to go real well for him.

Even then, it feels like a half assed attempt to remake Red and Blue, again. Sure the game looks pretty good but looking at the battle system and animations (or in some cases lack thereof) just isn't right. Compared to Stadium, it has this huge missing piece of Pokemon, well, battling. That was the magic of 3D battles was seeing a Snorlax body slamming an Omastar, or Kabutops rearing and lunging at a a Chansey with it's feet after being commanded to use Mega Kick. A personal opinion is that, if they're gonna get rid of items and abilities (which they confirmed recently) they should remove and revert any stat types and changes as well, on top of the physical special move split and revert the special stat because the only thing to do after getting rid of already established mechanics is to just go full retard and go back to square one. Maybe even make Focus Energy cut your crit rate in half as well.

If he is a Metokur fan, then he should've taken one thing away from the whole Sargon vs. Jim saga that played out recently. Never make spurious accusations when you're semi-famous, especially of child grooming or pedophilia, it will blow up in your face. Another thing that this squeaky no-fun allowed furry could learn from that debacle is to stay in his lane, but furries are attracted to drama like a fly is to shit, so fat chance of that happening.
I'm willing to bet that Verlis has a few skeletons that he doesn't want to come to light.

I know that Nintendo and Game Freak like to milk genwunner nostalgia, but for Christ's sake, can they NOT make us go back to Gen 1's incredibly gimped mechanics? I think that Fire Red and Leaf Green are the definitive Gen 1 games, if only due to the mechanical advancement that took place between 1997 and 2004. Much like Solo: A Star Wars Story, I genuinely believe that this will be one of the first traditional Pokemon games that will not only get universally mediocre scores, but will fail to return anywhere near as much money as the previous game did. It's already generated significant antipathy from the traditional hardcore audience. I know that the Let's Go games aren't Gen 8, but they're still the first traditional Pokemon games on the Switch.

FWIW his brother did go on twitter the other day and say he cut his own mother out of his life over $30. With how much the guy lies and no one in his personal life calling him out that's probably the closest there is to a skeleton

The only good Pokemon I've seen from him is a Fake-Out/ Last Resort M Lopunny. I will admit, that set up is insanely proficient. It's part of my primary team because it's stupid powerful. Pair it with a Ferrothorn and you'll witness alot of insanity. Granted a viewer probably gave him the idea.

As for battle skill, yeah, he's complete shit. I'd enjoy stomping a mudhole in his ass, but the prick refuses to battle me. He'll readily run his mouth anytime I call him out on his bullshit though.

That's such a carbon copy set from other Pokemon it's not even considerably unique. I ran that in Gen 4 with Ambipom.

Oh trust me, I know it's been around since gen 4, MLopunny just does it a hell of a lot better having much higher stats and getting the "Scrappy" ability.
