Notice that Amber says that Rarity has an appointment. Until I see stitches on rarity's belly I won't be convinced she got fixed.

Amber is about to move in with Becky and the boys. Becky tells them she has a dog and two cats, one of which isn't fixed. Ricky puts his foot down and says he doesn't want a cat in heat keeping him up at night. Amber had no choice but to dump the cats at Rafe's.
Fast-forward - Amber and Rafe have a falling out and Amber forces Becky to try to convince the boys to allow the cats. Becky tells the boys that if the cats can't come, she'll move out. Ricky agrees with the cats moving in, as long as Rarity gets fixed.
Amber is against fixing Rarity because she can't deal with the fact that someone told her what to do, but she has no other place to go and just got confirmation that she can bend Becky to her will. She calls around and most vets are more than willing to schedule the surgery two days from the call. Eventually she comes across the Humane Society and is told there is a huge waiting list.
This is perfect for her plans as it keeps Rarity from being fixed out of spite (no one tells me what to do reeeee!) while at the same time giving her an excuse as to why it hasn't been done yet - not her fault, she has to wait for the "vet"to call back.
Amber begins to screen her calls to make sure she doesn't pick up the one from HS. When she finally checks her messages she starts to play "phone tag" with them, when all she had to do is prepare to take Rarity there on the scheduled date. The date passes and ...ops! She's now at the back of the line. Darn it!
Rarity goes on heat again. Ricky is already pissed due to Amber's behaviour and again pressure her to do something - get the cat fixed, get rid of Rarity or move out. Amber has Becky completely under her spell, but their financial situation won't allow them to move out. As a token gesture, she calls another vet.
Rarity isn't on heat anymore. Amber breaths a sigh of relieve and goes back to doing nothing, hoping Ricky will forget all about it. The vet's time (if she scheduled the surgery) goes wasted.
Will Amber tempt fate one more time? Will Ricky kick her out before Rarity goes on heat again? Stay tuned for the next chapter.
