A FB friend of mine shared one of those BBC-Buzzfeedy videos about people with body modification reacting to typical statements that heavily modded people get (do you worship Satan, that's super ugly, what a freak, etc.). One of the people was none other than Torz. She claimed in the video that she "loved" skin removal and she cut off her finger because it was "cute".
I mean, if you're going to try and get a sample group of "normal" body modders, maybe don't get one who sent an ex-boyfriend a mutilated body part in the mail.

Necro but Torz was recently featured on a video that’s been floating around Facebook! Her look was too extreme to attend her best friend’s wedding so she went on Body Fixers and had them normal her up a bit.

People get involuntarily committed to psychiatric units for all sorts of marginally dangerous behavior. Has anyone heard about her getting committed for at least a period of evaluation after she did this? Is that something that can happen in the UK?

not that i know of. she was and still is idolized by her body mod community so she has plenty of people to back her up and fight for her case if someone mentions something to a professional.
