For real. Never bothered to credit Shibayan Records from who he pretty much stole an entire song and then only added a link to the original somewhere in the description after people started complaining - like 99% of people are going to bother to look there.
He seems to finally have changed the title of the video to it being a remix of the original pretty recently but only after it had already gotten most of it's popularity from some Tiktok meme years ago (something about Minecraft parrots dancing or something?).
Apparently he even started boasting about being on the Touhou Wikipedia page even though they were pretty much calling him out on there (couldn't find the original xeet, screenshot from reddit)

Touhou 20: Fossilized Wonders has been announced for release in August this year.
It seems like it'll just be the classic duo this time. There's a big theme of gems which change gameplay in a way we don't know yet.

'Fossilized' reminds me of Yuuma, my favorite 2hu; but I'm not a fan of her tamed state. 'Gems' reminds me of Momoyo, but I doubt Zun even remembers her.

The Fossilized Wonder is going to be Mima's remains shown at the end of the game. How I know this? My uncle used to work at Tasofro and knew Ota-san personally enough to tell him this.
Jokes aside, I hope the gameplay is spiced up with this gem gimmick since I really didn't like the cards system. If I had to guess what it's all about, the gems are power-ups tied to a mechanic of mixing them into powerful combinations of other character abilities from past games. This would be done in order to address the problems of the cards in the last two entires while keeping things somewhat fresh.
The events are a way to grant the player chances to obtain different stones with the meters being treated as a timer of how long you can use a combined ability before being drained. The counter on the right underneath the power one could just be how much "mutation stones" you can have in the run, with the player getting hit requiring the need to pick them up again.
I happen to be one of those City of Gods truthers.
As for the story, I also hope that this gods realm from underneath the Youkai Mountain, teased as far back as PMiSS as you've mentioned, is the main focus. The Izanagi Objects, as a little addition, I'm pretty sure also has a major role to play in how it potentially ties back into this supposed gameplay mechanic and whatever was up with Misumaru plus Unconnected Marketeers.
In that place, the sun's light shines all day long, an automated factory produces the necessary items to meet the needs of everyday life, and the youkai drink sake while reading the newspaper and discussing the news, living blissfully.
Within this hollow cavity, the forbidden act of opening a hole that connects to the outside world through the boundary is perpetrated, so other youkai and humans are not allowed to enter. At least, that is what they say...

In the SCoOW interview for UDoaLG ZUN says that a sanctuary is
>"A sanctuary refers to a location that belongs to no one. It lacks ownership by anyone, so during the recent disturbance, it was floating in terms of its location. Yachie found this and was the instigator... but in reality Zanmu acted from the shadows to make it seem that way."
Yamanba, are also said to inhabit sanctuaries, and Biten got her power by consuming the phantoms that 'owned the land' causing the one area where the authority of the spirits was still holding strong to go up in smoke. There's probably some needless confusion here to due miss translation, but I think sanctuaries at least don't have any private ownership of land, they're something like tribes or communes and judging by how the Yamanba act they're guarded fiercely by the communities that inhabit them. But in this case, this particular santuary does seem to be the one under Youkai Mountain, described as a paradise for gods and Youkai.
Although going by that Youkai mountain would be the eyeball underneath the city, since we'd be looking at it's silhouette from a flipped view.
