Oh, it gets better in the comments.

First, the good: a number of comments saying disclose sooner bc it's the right thing to do (and also not in the middle of the night with no wallet or way home, dummy).

But then, the dumb: "ooh, any man should know how dangerous it is to be abandoned at night, especially for a woman! And if you'd been killed, he'd have been the first suspect/he should have thought about that!"

For what it's worth, I'm a man (if my writing style didn't give that away) and you know what I would have done in that situation? Our friend here seems to have confused a perfectly natural curiosity (one that is likely shared by all people at some point in their lives) with some sort of mandate to mutilate himself in pursuit of it. I'm not a medfag so please correct me, but I would wager that there being a male amount of actual breast tissue has a lot to do with it. The female breast is breast tissue surrounded by fat, a troon's "brests" are just a very overdeveloped bitch tits, so you have the surrounding fat but just a milk ductless acorn of male breast tissue.

Men can lactate, and they do have milk ducts. I don't know why troons are predisposed to tuberous breasts, but it isn't because of some fundamental structural difference in the breast tissue. I think it's more likely to be caused by how troons go from very little feminine hormones, to suddenly having very much. In female puberty you get gradual rises in average estrone, estradiol, and progesterone, as well as a near-monthly cycle in each level, whereas in men you get a sudden peak in testosterone and then a gradual tapering off that begins in the twenties, and a much lower and more or less constant level of estradiol, with no estrone or progesterone. When troons start taking HRT they suddenly and dramatically drop in testosterone levels, and suddenly get a very steady, and abnormally high, level of estradiol. Some of them add progesterone even though it has no documented effect in males apart from retarding testosterone production. It doesn't at all resemble female puberty.

You can compare to cases of XY females with complete androgen insensitivity. They appear externally female, indistinguishable from XX females, but experience neither a hormonal cycle, nor particularly high estradiol levels, and estrone and progesterone are entirely absent. They still develop normal breasts, and the only thing that noticeably sets them apart during puberty is the lack of a period. The natural assumption is that male puberty somehow damages the breast tissue, but cases like Jazz where a boy was castrated before experiencing puberty yet still developing the unusual anomaly belies that.
