It's because it's rooted in mental illness and that makes it very difficult to respond rationally.

There are some DEEPLY buried studies that show that most of the "Trans" people don't have dysphoria at all. Most of them have depression/bipolar. Couple that with difficulty finding a romantic partner due to modern dating being a disaster and you have a miserable person with no self confidence.

And since these results rely on self-reporting of symptoms and/or chosing to seek followup assistence like basically all psychological studies, we can assume that the real numbers are dramatically higher since troons will ignore or mask their symptoms, or avoid seeking followup, due to sunk cost fallacy and not wanting to give teh ebil tRanSPhObeS a win.

I think these might be the actual real numbers. I'm not sure how Finland does their medical, but I've heard they all have a specific number assigned to them, and it tracked them all. Because Finland uses a medical number that could never be changed for each person, that means there was no "loss to follow-up" as occurred in other countries. They could simply track the number assigned to each person going for gender issues.

Each resident of Finland receives an 11-digit personal identification number at birth or upon acquiring Finnish citizenship. This number serves as a unique identifier across various national registers. The Finnish Population Information System contains current personal data on all residents. Since 1994, the National Institute for Health and Welfare has maintained the Care Register for Health Care (CRHC), which documents healthcare visits by Finnish residents, including diagnoses, procedures, and medical speciality codes.

Worse, they get convinced by the Troons that their depression is because they have dysphoria.

When that is, in fact, almost never the real cause. It could be a chemical imbalance that needs meds. It could be poor diet and exercise. It could just be that they have poor coping mechanisms and need therapy to learn healthier ones.

ALL of that should be checked for and ruled out before Troonery is even dreamed of as a diagnosis. But it isn't. Because Troons demand a fast-lane to HRT to bypass all the proper treatment

Berlin‘s economy isn’t nearly strong enough to be considered that. It’s actually one of the few European capital cities that’s poorer than the rest of the country. Things are slowly getting better but for every start up there’s three angry commies who whine about "muhh old Berlin is dying" because being a dirty and drug infested post-Cold war shithole is part of the city‘s identity.

I should have been clearer. I'm saying that it is likely that a substantial percentage of them that aren't captured in these results ARE having serious psych issues but are not seeking treatment or disclosing fully to their doctors because they desperately want to believe that the "gender treatment" is working. So the number continuing to experience adverse psych outcomes after intervention is likely much higher than 60% but it's not getting captured because in order to collect that data the people need to report it to a doc in some way.

So, there is a contingent of people who are deluding themselves in believing it's working when it is in fact not working at all? The placebo effect cohort that are unaware of the adverse effects because they've had it drilled into them that this is the only treatment that works, those people?
