Money Trannyformer$ - Let me Clarify

I wonder what the limits Chris has on his cards are? I remember when I got my credit card my bank offered me a limit of many thousands of dollars, probably because I'm reasonably responsible, have a career and save away whatever I can. Of course I was like fuck that and applied for a limit I could pay off in two or three paydays if I maxed it out but Chris obviously isn't that sensible.

Also something that bothers me about this post from Chris, has he seriously spent decades dreaming of getting the right toys to play out one scenario he thought up in childhood?

I noticed that, too... and I think no. It reads like what he thinks is a well-constructed excuse to make his need for these toys more important, so he had a higher calling to buy them, and we have no business questioning this important purchase. ( And they are still SO hungry, and they need bill and banana money, so dump out those wallets!!!)

i take it as chris saying "Isn't this scenario fun? well if you give me dosh i can have fun like that. me having fun is more important than you having money"

When Chris asks us to imagine being a little kid in the 80s who just wants to recreate that warm family feeling he gets from pretending his transformers are his parents, I want to respond by asking Chris to imagine being a grown man who's real mother is going to die soon but who would rather spend money on toys because he just assumes "someone else" will be taking care of the one person he has a relationship with.

He won't know you are talking about him.
