woahwoahwoahMakes me think this “wreckers” comic is just a bunch of next year’s repaints jammed into one advertisement.
a piece of Transformers media that's just an ad for toys?
blowing my mind here, bro

I know, I know. Ironic and all, I’m just throwing out my one theory that isn’t “insane tranny makes diverse team and sells them as iteration of fan favourite team”woahwoahwoah

Got the kits today, visor doesn’t flip up but I’ve got a plan to fix that. Any questions about the kits? Installation is easy and the gap left by the external visor is actually nice, I like the antenna to have a bit of space in between them and the head.If you look at his head, he's got these horns/mandibles on the side. Those just pop out, you slide the clear visor on, then reinsert the horns/mandibles back in place. The pegs that hold the horns/mandibles onto the head slide through holes on the sides of the visor and into the ports on the side of the head they normally slot into, and that keeps the visor in place. From the photos I've seen, you can raise the visor up a bit, but I think the brow/helmet of his head gets in the way of the visor going up very far. When I get my Scorponok and get all my upgrade goodies installed then I will take photos of him and post them here, and I'll do my best to remember to snap some of the visor installed and how far up it can go for you. Feel free to remind me down the line.
I would’ve assumed the “Resident KF Transformers Expert” knew, either way welcome. Hopefully we can bring this thread back to life. How am I only learning this thread existed just now? Why didn't anybody tell me?!
I normally don't venture into off-topic that often so I never saw this thread in it.I would’ve assumed the “Resident KF Transformers Expert” knew, either way welcome. Hopefully we can bring this thread back to life.
I thought the cringe Kingdom would’ve brought some discussion.
Siege brought me back to this autistic world after POTP killed my enthusiasm for collecting, the WFC trilogy has been a fantastic toyline 2/3 of the time. The tie-in media has been dreadful as always but I’ve been rereading a lot of Marvel so that satisfies the itch for secondary media.I normally don't venture into off-topic that often so I never saw this thread in it.
Regardless, I'm here now, which is kind of ironic given I admittedly haven't been too enthused by Transformers as of late. I haven't gotten any official figures from the main line ever since the tail end of Siege (Cog and Exhaust) and the media is just...well, it's bad. I don't exactly have high hopes for Rise of the Beasts, either.
Energon monster is interesting but all the BW and Prime stuff are easy skips.Oh good, a TF thread where I can share my autistic hobby.
If anyone's interested, a shitload of new figure listings were found tonight, and confirmed a bunch of previous rumors.

New Transformers Legacy/Evolution/Studio Series Listings Found - Leader Dragon Megatron, Armada Starscream, Inferno, Arcee, Soundwave, Energon Monster, Bulkhead, Tarantulas, Skids, Dragstrip, Ratchet, Rumble, Kickback, Laserbeak, Wheelie, Blaster, &
Enter the dragon! Thanks to a whole bunch of Target listings supplied by TFW's Nova Maximus and Voltrace, it appears we have our first store listings fornews.tfw2005.com
Honestly? I quite like Gary Chalk's Optimus. Though David Kaye, ironically, did a great young Optimus for Animated even though it's his Megatron that is just...unf.Rise of the Beasts looks to be following the same mistakes as it’s forefathers, which is really starting to piss me off. Sooner or later Cullen and Welker won’t be available and when their gone it’s done. What are they gonna do? Have Tillman voice Optimus full-time? Fuck off with that.
I grew up on movieverse and the various cartoons personally, but as a comic reading adult with a love of the 80s G1 will always be my go-to. Plus I have strict rules with my collecting, when I started in 2016 the rule is “G1 only” so thanks to Hasbro, it looks like I’ll be allocating more funds towards home ownership. For me the non-G1 stuff is music to my ears, it's nice Generations seems to be going back to how it was instead of constantly redoing the same group of G1 characters over and over. And I say that as someone who didn't even like TFP.
But G1 will still be there too of course, it'll always be there, because it's what this franchise was built on.
Chalk’s Optimus really shined in Armada. I didn’t see it as a kid but as an adult I can see that he’s…. cold, very reserved and a general first and foremost. Which is actually a front for him being a battle-hungry berserker. It was fantastic writing (for a toy commercial) and a character “deconstruction” done right.Honestly? I quite like Gary Chalk's Optimus. Though David Kaye, ironically, did a great young Optimus for Animated even though it's his Megatron that is just...unf.
Or should I say, yeeeeessssss?
Also, fuck whatever smoothbrain decided we needed another thing that starts with "Rise" in the title. All significance of that word has just fallen by the wayside by how overused it is. I mean, whatever happened to a creative play on words like say, "Primal Instinct" or have fun with it and go "Truck vs Monkey"
I can't wait for a Cryotek.Oh good, a TF thread where I can share my autistic hobby.

The word "Rise" should be banned from titles in general for at least the next few centuries.I grew up on movieverse and the various cartoons personally, but as a comic reading adult with a love of the 80s G1 will always be my go-to. I would’ve titled the new movie Transformers: Rebirth, both as an homage to the cartoon, the end of Beast Machines and it being a “rebirth” for the franchise.
But I’m not an overpaid Hollyjew who thinks MurderPrime was a good idea.
Better a wait then scalper prices or worse, the dreaded late-fee. I had to pay the late fee for Siege Soundwave, I’m still beating myself up for that fuck up.Welp, looks like my Scorponok won't be arriving until September, despite the listing on TF Source saying July. I'm not happy, but what can you do? Guess I just have to be patient.
The top one is tranny colors. That don't bode wellBehold! The nu-Wreckers!
