I usually don't mind doing them as it gives me something to do and just adds to the hobby part of collecting in modern times. Just adding stickers to stuff was always boring. Now working on joints and paint apps gives you more to do and allows you to appreciate your collection more. As well as addon kits to personalize everything.Fixed Jackpot, popped the head shaved down some of the interior connections, reglued, lightly filed off both sides to ensure a clean, smooth and seamless fit then repainted.
An hour of work roughly, followed by fixing the paint-apps on Road Ranger. All these defects on figures I was looking forward to really bummed me out for awhile.
I love customizing, I hate fixing figures I hotly anticipated. I’m alright fixing an obvious stinker like ER Arcee but the second Gobot in what will be a set?I usually don't mind doing them as it gives me something to do and just adds to the hobby part of collecting in modern times. Armada’s first half and second half are so different it’s hard to believe they’re the same show. Unicron being the robo-Cthulhu puppet master, Optimus having repressed bloodlust, Megatron being a father-figure to his men, Starscream’s sacrifice and that awesome final duel between Megatron and Optimus in the heart of the monster. It’s some good shit, Armada faults and all is kino.I just want to say Beast Wars is the shit and was better than any right it had to be considering the creators went in knowing fuck all about the franchise and were flying by the seat of their pants
Also Armada was really good once Unicron enters the plot from what I remember
If the first half wasn't so focused on selling the Mini-cons like they were pokemon and the kids, it would have probably been my favorite Transformers incarnation, but like you said, the second half is extremely strong. It's a shame that they dropped the ball so hard with Energon and Cybertron though after ending Armada on such a high noteArmada’s first half and second half are so different it’s hard to believe they’re the same show. Can't wait for IDW to join FunPub. That shit will still be on the TF Wiki, but at least Hasbro will quietly ignore that content. With IDW going down the tubes and all their books now no longer "canon" I want to see if all the 2000's era repaints they featured will now plummet in price.
I mean there's probably just a small subset of collectors that bothered completing lines like Beast Machines and Universe 1.0, They probably have everything by now.
FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for awhile for someone else to mention Sorrenson, the man who paid money for Chris Mcfeely to talk about rubsigns. I hate that faggot, Funpub letting “fans” write fiction was their cardinal sin. Can't wait for IDW to join FunPub. Also fuck Jim Sorrenson. Just saying.
Armada was also the start of the “Dark Optimus” not like Nemesis Prime but personality-wise. Even in the first season he was cold and….. distant, a far cry from the warm father figure.I originally hated Armada mainly because I found the kids annoying as fuck. But now I have some more appreciation for it, especially with how much stronger its second half is.
Energon is still total shit though. So much of it felt like it was just actively destroying whatever potential Armada built up, especially with its fetish for mindwiping characters.
I'd like to see more Grand Scourge being used in comics and maybe some non upgrade kits of the figure too. The one for Combiner Wars needed work to look good like any of the other ones from that line.FINALLY! Then you learn that this is a recent development and that he is a raging berserker who likes war. Still on the side of good but not necessarily a good man.
When Unicron gives his Gravemind speech and shattered the facade, the true Optimus comes out and it’s a treat.
Easily the best of the darker takes on Prime, eons of war broke him and he turned into the Doomguy if that final bout with Galvatron was any indication.
Hasbro only ignores Funpub content in a lore sense, they're pretty close to remaking every single Funbub Exclusive figure in Generations and Lift Ticket is coming out. Can't wait for IDW to join FunPub. That shit will still be on the TF Wiki, but at least Hasbro will quietly ignore that content.

No one learned from either Action masters or Robot Masters. Hell even Revoltech fails just by that alone.Does RED not get that Transformers that don't transform are just Formers?
I haven't heard anything bad about them. Long as they're installed correctly they should last. There is a little play with the screws to help with the knee but that's not hard to get it just right.DK-23 Upgrade Kit: F, also known as the Scorponok leg extenders, don’t buy them. He becomes dangerously unstable with them installed. Do not buy ever, DNA leg extenders always turn out bad.
