Off-Topic Transgender Legislation and Litigation

Why is WPATH filing lolsuits with the specific purpose of hiding the source materials and methods that they use to formulate their so called "standards of care?"
Of course they would try that. Can't have the world knowing that a major part of their their "sources" for trans standard of care for minors comes from a pedophile eunuch child torture fetish forum.

I hope they get absolutely destroyed in every court case they try to file, as I'm certain this won't be the last time they try this.

I cannot find the article anymore but it was about an early american tranny who detransitioned and was explaining how activists used him for legal standing. I don't know if the article mentions the court cases but it mentions the lawyers targeted sympathetic judges, one of whom had a transgender child. Those court cases would be nice to add to the thread.

I was just about to say I think we all know why they would attempt to quash that discovery.
That organization practically worships the pedophile monster John Money, I wouldn't be surprised if a thorough investigation into associations found more ties to NAMBLA than Harvey Milk.

Hysterical open letter asserts that restricting children's access to troon social media content will "endanger lives."

You know, we keep getting removed from the internet with the excuse of "immediate threat to bodily harm and life" or whatever.

As much as I want the trannies censored and for the next generation to touch some god damn grass, this bill could backfire on online spaces that actually have the explicit purpose of free speech.

Scratch that, kids shouldn't be here anyways. This bill looks good to me.

Was it this article written by James Shupe - "I Was America’s First ‘Nonbinary’ Person. It Was All a Sham." If so, this person seems pretty mentally ill, because they keep going back and forth about how they identify.

The whopping lie that Tony is telling is that he claim that there is any ban at all is pure bollocks. A fabrication of the deluded minds of trans activists. The judge correctly found that adults are not prevented from obtaining troonshine and thus, there is no ban. The fact that you have to see an actual doctor in person and not a nurse practioner in a video chat does not mean that your troonshine has been "banned."

"Judge Robert Hinkle, who previously blocked the law's enforcement on behalf of minors, ruled that adults seeking to expand his injunction haven't proven they would be irreparably harmed until the case is resolved. The law signed by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in May bans any transgender treatment for minors and requires transgender adults give consent to treatment in person and with a physician present. Advocates say that is a problem because much of the care is prescribed by nurse practitioners and/or through telehealth – and that it’s too hard for many patients to get or get to in-person appointments with physicians."

Florida law restricting transgender adult care can be enforced while challenged in court

No, you don't understand! They don't have the spoons to be bothered to see a doctor for prescription-only medication and and cosmetic surgery! Making them expend any effort of due dilligence to seek elective care is literal genocide.

Don't they need to see a surgeon for top/bottom/face surgery?

I've gotten scripts from NPs and PAs, but for normal illnesses, not because "I wanna be a girrrllll, please give me a magic pill that will transform me into a cum-guzzling porn star like the stories I read on trannyfiction.xxx!"

On the topic of Scott Wiener, this is the same guy who proposed to let kids have their dicks chopped off.

And to add to the shitshow, he also proposed this bill.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this guy touches kids. He’s fucking creepy.

(((Don’t look at his early life section on Wikipedia)))

This is interesting. Under the temporarily blocked Idaho law you can sue a troon for $5,000 per violation for improper bathroom access.

"Senate Bill 1100, signed by Gov. Brad Little during the 2023 legislative session, prevents transgender students from using the school bathroom, locker room or changing facility that aligns with their gender identity. Instead, students must use facilities that align with their “biological sex,” or sex assigned at birth. If a student is unwilling or unable to use the bathroom corresponding with their sex assigned at birth, they can request that the school make accommodations for them to use a single-use restroom or alternate facility.

A private action clause in the law allows students to seek a minimum of $5,000 in damages if they encounter a transgender student in a bathroom that doesn’t align with their biological sex."

Where we're all the dead troon kids before social media came out

They should be able to point and go 'look the year discord came out there's this massive decline in youth suicides'

But they can't, because it's horseshit

If anything its probably gone up to a startling degree because creepy adults on social media are telling them shit like 'oh you like sailor moon? Got some bad news for you kiddo, that means you're a transgirl and you will definitely kill yourself in 2 months if you don't get on estrogen NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!'

New lolsuit filed in North Dakota. Same nonsensical arguments that have been rejected by the appellate courts. This one goes one step further and implicitly asserts that girls are not allowed to take karate lessons.

"BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A determined group of adults have filed a lawsuit against a law that bans gender-affirming care for transgender and non-binary children in the state.

12-year-old Tate Dolney from Fargo does karate and homework like a lot of kids, but he’s also petitioning to get a North Dakota law overturned.

“Our state lawmakers haven’t given me much of a choice. They’re the ones who made it illegal for me to keep getting health care that has made it possible for me to be the happy, healthy kid I am today,” said Dolney."

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I just wanted the input of some legal folx and I have no idea where/who else to ask. Null's lawsuit just got me thinking.

Do you foresee a wave of detrans malpractice lawsuits in the near future, or is that totally impossible aside from cases with obvious violations of informed consent? What about professional malpractice against negligent therapists or other prescribers? Basically, what would it take for terrible surgeons like Rumer or rogue ones like Cetrulo to be sued for malpractice? Assuming they carry malpractice insurance, of course.

There seem to already be waves of detransitioners suing for malpractice. From a cursory google search, this year there's already 2 lawsuits against Kaiser Permanente filed this year in California, multiple suits in GB, suits in Toronto, and a suit in North Carolina. These were the top five articles that appeared when typing 'detransitioner malpractice lawsuits' into a search engine.

I just want to know if any of these suits filed in the past have been successful.

Most of the news I see is about Chloe Cole, although it looks like there are some super recent ones in NC and MN. It just seems like so many people could argue they were manipulated or groomed into this, as well as the children being put on puberty blockers that were advertised as reversible, that it's almost going to have to become its own cottage industry in the future.
