After watching this I feel like I finally understand the TERF/femcel mindset. It’s a broad feeling of having nowhere to go and having no spaces to yourself. Getting my hobbies ruined played a role in peaking me too (it wasn’t the biggest factor though). And, while I don’t like the video’s misandry, I can at least see where their perspective is coming from and I think it’s good that they’re speaking their minds freely.

Neither feminism nor crony capitalism's got anything to do with it. As far back as the SDS or Weather Underground, hell, go back to the Frankfurt school, leftists already had plenty of disdain for the white working class because they were too reactionary to want anything to do with communism or socialism, beyond stuff like unionizing or negotiating higher wages or more benefits.

Leftists are just really that dumb, there's nothing they can do that won't play into the hands of scheming capitalists. Which is why the end result of any attempt at socialism is just an even worse form of capitalism, "state capitalism," or why feminists are so quick to be suckered into supporting a patriarchy ruled by porn addicts and soyboys.

That's just the lot of communists in the west, or anywhere that isn't an absolutely backwards shithole: they can't win with identity politics, they can't win without it either, because it's the only kind of class warfare they could manage to stoke in the west.

This probably won't make a difference, but there are different branches of feminism and terfs have been anti-trans since at least the 70s; it's the liberal / choice feminists who have supported trans issues and there are similar divides over immigration. The views that get amplified are those that agree with what the establishment already wants to happen, what is economically beneficial to the establishment, and aside from that, most positions of power in the world are still held by men.

Terfs are ostracised/demonised precisely because feminism isn't a unified political consensus, the establishment is pro-trans, and women aren't all in agreement. But I bet you would never talk about all men expressing their political views as being all MRAs or of a political consensus. You are not the independent thinker or remotely as perceptive as you think you are.

@Aero the Alcoholic Bat Feminists generally fall on the left because it's beneficial for short term gains, but there's also plenty of discussion / recognition within feminism about how leftists aren't actually working for anything long term beneficial to women; a common radfem saying is that 'men are only leftist from the waist up'. Terfs / radfems aren't automatically pro-communist or whatever.

While Marx was writing feminism was almost exclusively for upper class women but that was women were still property of their husband and very little autonomy of their own, so rich women were the ones with means, time and lack of supervision/commitment to do it.

Radical feminism is critical of religion, all religions especially including islam and generally critiques immigration on that basis, that it's introducing anti-woman cultural values. Radfems are anti-hijab etc. But I'm sure you've been hanging around loads of feminist spaces and just happened to have missed this.

Also AnOminous is already saying that identity politics were used to break up OWS, so I don't even know why you're acting like you're arguing anything new or different. There's plenty of documentation about how the CIA/feds infiltrated US colleges first then everywhere else afterwards.
