This is a topic covering Chris so people's bs detectors are going to be in overdrive. Nothing personal. The more pics you have of this the more likely people are going to believe you.

I don't know what anyone would have to "gain" from lying about having info about Chris, but people do it all the time.

Also, your language oscillates between "I saw" and "my field agent saw," so that impacts your credibility. Particularly as this all sounds kind of ridiculous. As someone who worked as a newsperson for several years, you tend to introduce yourself and discuss your story in detail before expecting anyone to divulge personal (and discrediting) information such as stalking an autistic man.

@lipitor why don't you PM someone like Marvin with the info you want to keep private. He'll be able to confirm if you're BSing or not without leaking the details to the rest of the forum.

@lipitor if you are telling the truth, kudos. If not...prepare to get lots of dumb/autistic ratings!
Thanks, I appreciate it. Not really sure why people don't believe me. I knew Chris had seen us last time so I didn't announce I was going down. I was honestly hoping someone else would want to go, but when no one else did I stepped up to the plate for you guys. It seemed like Chris remembered me and I was certainly sketched out when that reporter showed up. So I waited a little while for the dust to settle, see if Christian said anything or that reporter published anything. Didn't know you guys were just gonna chew me out for giving you all the details.

Well, hell. If that's the case, I get your concern. If that happened it would shake me up too.

But it's not like Marvin hasn't been willing to leak shit on the account of other people while using his clout as "fuck you, it's me, so it's true." He's earned that.

Nobody would blame you for having an experience like that and feeling like it's not worth sharing "Chris might do a psych eval. He wore a hat" with a bunch of ding dongs.

I've already shared that info with someone on the forum. I did it because they're a reputable member with an account older than this trial. Whatever, believe me or don't. If @Marvin or another Christorical figure wants to PM me for details they can feel free to do that.

We don't know if the reporter has any association with Chris. The fact she appeared after Chris texted seems to suggest Chris may have been texting her and is therefore associated, but we don't know for certain. As for those questioning how it was known Chris was texting, this is not hard to believe given the courtroom setup and seating area (more below) and also because he was using a flip phone where it's obviously more cumbersome (and therefore more visible) to text (typing 2-88-8-444-7777-6 is required just to spell "autism")

To those questioning how Chris would know if someone is following him, you need to understand what the actual courthouse is like. First, there is only one courtroom in the building. It is not like a complex of courtrooms with multiple floors and lobbies with lots of traffic like in a major metropolitan area. The courtroom itself is also very narrow, but also very long. About 60% of the courtroom is a seating area while the other 40% in the front is for counsel, a few typists, and the judge. The seating area is quite compact and very easy to gauge everyone in the courtroom. More importantly, when we were there in April, we were the only people that would fit the typical profile of someone who would follow Chris (e.g. male, sitting alone, aged 15 - 40, plainly dressed). It's very obvious who was there for court business as some were there with family members or in groups or were in conversation with their counsel. Some were even wearing uniforms, likely from prison. So it's quite easy to figure out who would be there to follow Chris.

One has to wonder if this reporter is familiar with CWC or Internet culture in general. Linking it to cyber-bullying probably isn't the best way to go about it.

Your field agent was wise to avoid the reporter, probaly some hack looking to score some easy points by writing up a hatchet job on cyber-bullies Chunky makes for a perfect pasty. Aw, Look it them meanies tormenting that poor retard ect ect. We've seen it before.

Chances are this reporter is Internet savy, Chunky is a internet legend after all, so they saw a chance to get some inside info so to speak.

My bet is HuffPo, they eat shit like this up.

I didn't encounter any reporters there and I was perhaps more conspicuous than you guys.

Maybe the reporter is some SJW journalist looking to confront neckbearded dudebros IRL who harass innocent trannies for Kotaku.

You are right. There is no way to know for sure. I only think Chris texted her, because I saw him look all concerned when texting. I know what texting looks like on a flip phone, this wasn't snake. He had to look at the phone to see which letter he wanted then hit the same button 1-3 times over and again for about a minute. I'm 99% sure he was texting. Most people don't bother bringing their phones in at all cuz of the camera rule. You really think Christian got a special approved phone just to play snake? After he did that he put the phone away and then 10-15 minutes later she showed up and never talked to Chris. That's personally what I think is the most likely explanation. Of course it could be anything. She wasn't at the last hearing and @Rammspieler never mentioned seeing her either. So she's new here. I didn't know I was gonna get so challenged here. I only mentioned it to warn the next set of guys who go down so they don't get surprised when she pops out.
The snake thing was a joke. My serious suggestion was that he could have been texting someone else.

Although the approved phone thing is a little odd. We know that Chris regularly uses an iphone. It's not inconceivable budget constraints would cause him to cut back. But the text messages he posted a couple days ago were iphone, so that would have to have been an very recent development. It does strain credulity a little.

So that suggests he has it for a specific reason. And we have a wild reporter appearing. That could certainly be the connection. Although, as I ponder it, it seems weird. A reporter provides Chris with a cell-phone to communicate with her in the courthouse. Why? A working hypothesis is that he can summon her if he spots trolls. But we know that he isn't any better equipped to spot them than she is. Probably worse. Is it conceivable that she thinks he can? I guess it is, but I would have guessed she would have looked into that and found out he didn't have a good way of identifying trolls. And was she just hovering near the courthouse waiting to appear if he spotted them? Providing a cell phone and hovering seems more trouble than just going. But if she wasn't hovering, why the phone? If my guess is correct, for almost all of the time he was in the court room, Chris was either not busy, in which case he could have talked quietly to her, or busy, in which case he couldn't have texted her. What advantage did the phone provide? I suppose it meant she didn't have to reveal any connection, but didn't she tip that hand a lot by telling your friend she was a reporter?

I think the flip phone is the most puzzling part. It could be the reporter, but there are the issues I just talked about. But then again, what other explanation could there be? Could Barb be housebound with some real or imagined ailment, and demanded constant updates? Could his lawyer have one that he lends to clients waiting in the courtroom? Could he have bought one just because he was so freaked out by the idea of being incommunicado? I suppose all of those are possible, but none of them seem likely either.

And I am not trying to challenge you too much. You presented a lot of interesting facts. And then some interpretations of those facts, which I am sure you acknowledge is speculation. I was just presenting an alternative interpretation of the facts, not trying to challenge them. That has always been the appeal of these forums for me.

I think the real lesson here is don't bother doing fieldwork unless you're able and willing to provide the hard evidence at the end of the day.

It's also an ethical violation for a reporter to pay for an interview, even with a small gift like a cup of coffee:

Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics said:
Act Independently

The highest and primary obligation of ethical journalism is to serve the public.

. . .

Be wary of sources offering information for favors or money; do not pay for access to news. Identify content provided by outside sources, whether paid or not.

Journalists identify themselves and the media outlet they work for. Where was this alleged reporter from?

Your story involves Chris using a contraband phone (or getting a special permit for no discernible reason) to sic an anonymous, bribing reporter on you.

I really don't like to call people out on here, but the needle on my my bullshit detector is spinning off the charts.

Lipitor said he won't disclose that, due to weens.

He won't disclose it because it didn't happen.

EDIT: And, assuming this is true, this is a completely moronic reason. There is nothing a reporter who wants to write about cyberbulling/Chris's fan base would LOVE more than to have people getting in contact. And the story would have been published with the reporter's name and contact information.

To speculate: If true perhaps Chris has been talking to members of the LGBT community at the club he goes to and brought up the issue of bullying, transphobia is a pretty hot issue so maybe they passed information to Chris how to contact an interested journalist to help cover it?

A flip phone is much more likely to be approved by a court if it's a more old-fashioned sort that doesn't have a camera or recording capability. So if he really does have some special dispensation to have it, that might explain it. It seems odd a defendant would get such permission, though. Usually it's a lawyer or an expert witness like a practicing doctor who get such permission. It also seems like kind of a backwater court to have an actual supply of flip phones available for such use, but I wouldn't rule that out.

I'm assuming he didn't just autistically bring in a phone completely against the rules, but I suppose that's also possible.

Also, why does everyone seem to assume lipitor is just making all this up? I suppose it's possible but why not come up with something more interesting if it's a :ruse: ?

The only thing I can suggest other court watchers might do is, if they plan on anything but skedaddling if confronted, have an alias and cover story ready so you won't look like a fool trying to make one up on the spot. At least if you don't plan on answering honestly, which I suppose you could if you really want to trust some rando probable SJW pushing an agenda.
