Under the 007: Skyfall trigger warning it had this listed:

- Possible sexual assault (if you want to message me about it, feel free, but it’s kind of hard to explain? some people interpret the scene differently)

Seriously? If I want to know if something will trigger me I need to message them so they can describe it to me? No way that could go wrong.

I've seen people tag caps before. like caps lock.
I'd really love to know what happened in someone's life where caps lock triggers them.
 
Here is a list of Ableist slurs which you should never use because you could trigger someone!

Highlights include:

Barren - Refers to people who are infertile, carries sexist connotations as well as ableist ones.

In all seriousness, tumblr tends to go into crytype mode when ever they're 'triggered.' Like, you could stay away from the computer if you really hate that one thing so much, no one's forcing you.

Shit, I've seen that and people tagging for bolded text. The Tumblr audio player has the title of every track in bold, so these people would put "#tw: bold" on every audio post they reblog, and it's so fucking baffling and infuriating.

Word police make me extremely angry. If you tag your post with any triggers whatsoever, it will trigger me. If you type c*nt when you mean cunt, it will trigger me. Please consider my feelings and always be as offensive as possible.

Story Time: There are very few blogs I follow on Tumblr. One of them (practically the only one) posted a note saying that they would no longer be accepting submissions that used ablest terms. I got mad and sent them an ask stating that as someone with a learning disability I did not appreciate them dictating what was best for me. I said that I am not thin skinned and resent their belief that anyone who isn't neurotypical needs to be handled like a frail, special snowflake.

My ask was promptly deleted.

I've known several little people who self-identify as midgets.

I see a lot of "tw: academia" and variations on that theme from people who are in college. One of my favorite currently inactive Tumblr lolcows hit me with "tw: etymology" once. That continues to be my favorite.

I'm also fond of s****ing out all the l*****s in "sl*rs" so you can't tell what the word is. For the longest time I thought "g***y" was "gimpy".
