Really with the its for kids nonsense? Disney's stuff used to attempt to be universal, because the artists had to make it watchable for entire families, this stuff wasn't set up with the intention that a kid is gonna have an Ipad with a streaming service shoved in front of them so parents can do anything other than parent. They were theaters first, home media second. And in the beginning the latter basically did not exist. But even with Pixar existing nearly solely in the realm of the theater to home media model their entire existence, their first films were incredibly universal and actually had mass appeal. But with the advent of social media, mobile devices, the rise of the internet artists working to produce content for multimedia conglomerates seem to not even understand their own business model anymore. And the artists ego has become very selfish and self serving, somehow more than it used to be.Female tweens seem to be the primary target. That is pretty clear. All the man children who are baffled by this, seem to be forgetting they aren't kids anymore. It's time to grow up. Kids movies aren't going to be trying to appeal to you anymore.
