This is exactly it, and why every channel/movie studio is coming up with their own streaming 'services', not realizing that this is going to bring back piracy (the streaming service crack up led me to go back to physical media).

Yeah, but most (read: all) don’t need to be making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to live, either, so at least as things are right now it’s perfectly viable to be a mediocre vtuber.

I'm not going all conspiracy-theorist, it might be just age, but some of the boomers I know who were capable/willing of learning new things just a few years back have completely checked out.
