I don't think it was so much him comprehending it as advertising for himself, but instead it is again another sign (no pun intended) of Chris' more passive nature and expecting people to just "get it." It would take effort and possible hurtful truths learned for him to walk up to a girl and just say, "Hi, I'm Chris. Just noticed you're wearing the same kind of lip gloss I like. Can I buy you a Coke and we can discuss makeup techniques?" or whatever. Instead, he breaks out the arts and crafts, makes himself a sign and expects any prospective girl to just be immediately attracted to a man carrying "Nintendo DS, GBAVideos, GBAJukebox, my Sonichu Scrapbook."

There is being shy, and then there is being willfully inept, Chris.

I've seen the second one before, ages and ages ago, but I forget why it's not on the CWCki. I think it might be because we're not 100% sure it's really Chris.
 
First one's hilariously fake due to mentions popping out before in previous incarniations of the forums.

The second one is, as mentioned before, at "Story of My Current Days", but I wonder why Chris is now blaming Megan Schroeder recently instead of Wes Iseli and/or Sarah Hammer which he did back then.

I made my girlfriend watch it last weekend, for the first time.

She didn't talk to me for days.
 
Man, that was the first time I ever read "Story of My Current Days" (since I was unaware thats what this was), even though he was still such a dipshit, he was simply a lot more autistically naive back then, instead of being the birdy, bitchy, grouchy, dipshit he is today.

I've also figured out some NEW methods of attraction: pacing back-and-forth while watching a GBAVideo on
either my Game Boy Advance SP or my Nintendo DS. I did manage to catch the attention of some girls, but they were all
already paired-up with a JERK, or otherwise were updatable, due to their religion. But I did get a hug or two.

And I'm wondering if my religion she means Anna and her Mormonism ( I know she went with lesbian, but you never know).

To me, his mouth and area around it is starting to resemble a big beak. :sighduck:

And his hair is canary yellow (or at least it was when I coined the term).

Even more sad is how those were his golden ages, when he could be near girls and over all near normal people without creeping them out... for a while.

What with all the stuff in the recent months (Chris's High School Disaster, the fire), it's kind of refreshing to go back and read something like "Story of My Current Days". I almost had forgotten this version of Chris existed.
 
As for "Story of My Current days"

Im surprised no teacher asked him what he meant by a "bus full of slow in the minds" or bothered to teach him about using respectful terms for the mentally handicapped. And tell him that he is basically the pot calling the kettle black.
