Ty Beard - Bumbling Fat Wargames Nerd Lolyer High On His Own Farts

So something I think may be something so many of you forgot is that to Ty this is just another case. To everyone else, it means the world. Perhaps it wasn't his top priority and he planned for what he needed, but when it comes down to it, we can't get do overs and merely only learn from failures. Really am waiting for Nick's full honest opinion as I'm seeing mixed things as what went down.

And I suppose peeing on his Terracotta statue is a rightful punishment.

Well I know Ty fucked up(partially his fault, partially the judge), but I am willing to give him another chance. The human element came into affect and now this has been a learning experience. The dude brought on from the other firm will hopefully be a load off him and help him think more clearly in the future. We will see I guess.

This is not his most important case re: stakes or finance, but I'm pretty sure this is his most publicized case. Fucking up in front of a lot of people hurts him and his firm.

I think you're making a bigger deal of it than what it really is. We could tinfoil hat this and doing poorly in any case is never good. Most of his clients are people who are nowhere near anything Anime and likely never will really even know about it down the line.

Unless you honestly believe a cult of people who watch crappy english dubbing of Japanese cartoons makes a huge impact on society. And that millions of people are actually watching this. Sure it's a lot but I wouldn't even call it a big lawsuit. Ty flopping hard on this lawsuit wouldn't damage his firm that much.

Its possible. This is a story that's getting media attention. Even if it's from the Dallas Morning News, or whatever it's called, it's still the news to a major metropolitan area. And the one chick roasts Ty Beard hard. ANN and comicbook news can be ignored, but I'm pretty certain Ty's Clients and potential clients might hear about it all the same. This isn't about weebs, cultists, etc: I'm specifically mentioning how this looks to Ty and his firm in Texas when its getting put in the Texas press.

Even now, I'm seeing that he's getting excused for his incredibly piss-poor management of the case because JUDGE BAD.
Thats just the thing on both sides. People want to be right, and they will fight tooth and nail, jump through mentle hoops if it means they can stick to the reality they want.

It's why I don't like talk to people who think Mandela Effect means we have cross over from some other reality, and there is no way their memory is somehow wrong about something they havn't seen or thought of for years.

I think the thread subtitle needs to get changed at this point.

Like, ngl, It was kinda embarrassing to see some lawyer dude get his dick e-sucked so much just because people really wanted to see Vic win.

You want to hate on him, post doxxxxx etc, you can go ahead. But I don't think he's done enough to make people actually turn on him, hence my jokes.

People like Ty for more than just their emotional investment in Lasagna's legal battle, they want to believe in heroes. Even if you end up being proven completely right about the reckless mismanagement, he still took a public stand against injustice. I think that counts for something, even if his image eventually buckles against public scrutiny.

Nick's name is constantly dragged through the mud online, and he doesn't seem worried about getting clients. BHBH has probably got enough regular clients whose positive experiences with the firm outweigh anything the negative press could affect. So I think you're right, if Ty was purely concerned with his image, he could take the easy route and just virtue signal, rather than fight a hard fight like this.

It made the Dallas News. Coverage of Beard Harris was not favorable. I'm betting most Ty's clients are newspaper reading boomers. It's not gonna help business to his law firm.

So what legal authority do you have that gives u the ability to see his "piss-poor management"?

Nick's main business is his show now, and Nick isn't being called out for his poor performance in the courtroom like Ty is. If Ty loses this case, then he seals off the potential for his firm to expand into these types of lawsuits as well as the reputation for being "nerd lawyers" (like how Frog God Games hired him). Plus the newspaper coverage he's getting for this lawsuit. Long-term, losing this could cost him a lot of opportunities and millions of dollars in potential business. Meanwhile, winning this lawsuit and good performance is a nice boost to advertising and potential business. He has no reason not to treat this as one of his most important cases just because the spotlight is on him and BHBH.

Given that most of his clients are business men/CEO's I would think that they most likely read the Wallstreet Journal, Washington Pest or New York Slime.
The Dallas Moaning News with its circulation of ~215000 papers daily was IIRC the only Texan newspaper who covered the story, tbh, I would be more concerned about bad news coverage when the Houston Chronicle (daily circulation ~825.000) would have covered it.

The fact that he lost the majority of his charges in a matter of hours, and bumbled his way through every step of the case.

But I'm sure you'll parrot whatever excuses Nick will come up with for him pretty soon.

I agree with the first part but the latter is incorrect- he did not bumble his way through ever step, only the stuff at the last minute of the TCPA. the early parts of this seemed very well under his control and every hearing up to the TCPA hearing left with Ty getting exactly what he wanted.

I agree with all the criticism on the utter shit TCPA response filing and it seems like he dropped the ball at the hearing as well, but let's not pretend that the respect Ty got from the farms was nothing but empty hero worship.
