Well, all of the other main event fights were infinitely better than Tyson Vs. Jake Paul. I also wish he would have caved that little twerp's face in, but alas, he didn't. We all really need to face reality that Iron Mike is almost
60 fucking years old. And he still rocked JP a few times, and went the distance. That deserves respect. Also, it's obvious that his knees are fucked, and he even made a point in the post-fight interview that he wasn't going to make any excuses for himself.
As far as the other fights. They were fucking excellent.
Nunez is inexperienced and was completely outclassed by Goyat, but has potential to go far. Another fight that I would have liked to see go a few more rounds to settle it for good.
Barrios Vs. Ramos for the welterweight title, while I usually fucking hate split draws, I agree in that case. Both fighters put on a great show and it was genuinely evenly matched, with knockdown from both.
Katie Taylor flat out should have lost her match against Amanda Serrano. She was outgunned and was leaning on and clutching Serrano the whole match. However, I completely disagree with the referee's point deduction for head butting. The few that were seen were obviously unintentional, and more due to both fighters leaning in close. It should have gone to Serrano for the win, and no point deductions. Serrano is gonna need a fuckton of stitches though.
All in all, a great card, other than the intermittent issues from everyone in the world stressing Netflix's servers. Well worth the $0 I paid
by sailing the high seas.
