This is unrelated to the whole R6 seige hack but

To the surprise of absolutely no one its come out that jeets were just selling access to their ubishit helpdesk accounts to anyone willing to pay.

how many times will this need to happen until company execs figure out that you can't trust jeets with anything.
Archive and screen it, nigger.

Way to not archive the tweet fucker. Now what did it say?

> hire 3rd world niggers and jeets to do customer support, boring shit that no white man wants to do for slave wage.
> they immediately compromise your network security for $100 and a sack of rice
> hackers extort you for millions

I take back what I said earlier:

I feel sorry for the backend employees having to clean up this mess.
They deserve what's coming to them. Poor players?

So, from my understanding, the R6 Siege hack was a distraction hack for them to obtain all of Ubisoft's source codes. The four hackers involved are claiming responsibility for various compromised information, but it's unclear of who did what now.

What a day to be Ubisoft. That Tencent buyout may be the least of their problems.

Oh I was wondering why for honor was down earlier.
For Honor is the thing I'm hoping gets the Server Emu treatment next.
Obviously it's not dead, but idk anyone in real life whose played a single match of it, since playing foreign-server-reliant games like this from where I live is a waste of time. Same goes with R6S I guess for the same reason.

It'd be nice to set up a local server for our LAN cave, since my brother's just been setting up a literal rack for hosting Project Zomboid and Minecraft servers.

They let players host private matches in any game mode already. It has fair numbers on steam for a game that hosts 8 player max lobbies, which is probably whats kept it alive. It also typically doesn't take more than 3 minutes to find a skill matched lobby.

Guy on the Hidden Palace discord said that Ubi has been blatantly hacked for months now. Wonder if its the same people or are they just that bad.

I'm not talking about skilled players though, and I'm sure as shit not talking about buying legit copies for playing online.
I'm talking about what's effectively offline LAN play for a bunch of drunk retards, like what my ex and I used to do with cracked copies of Payday 2, or how I used to hook up the brethren with the T6/7 clients for BlackOps Zombies nights.
I'm also hoping something similar comes along for FarCry 5, because I want to play co-op on that at some point but don't wanna use Ubi's servers and wouldn't expect anyone to give Ubisoft money anymore either.

It's a numbers game. As long as hiring jeets instead of whites makes number go up they'll keep doing it and damn the consequences.
I hope Ubisoft goes under before they release the remake/remastered/whatever the fuck is called for Black Flag
This but the Sands of Time remake. I know it was put on ice, then restarted, then cancelled, and last I heard is back in development, but what little they've shown of it looks like absolute shit and just like the Deus Ex "remaster" I'd rather have nothing.

albeit controller-snappingly difficult
It's not impossible to beat, you just need to farm lives in the beginning, which is piss-easy. It's not until you get to the rock level where shit starts to get real (the music level before it isn't really that bad after a few repeat plays). Rayman 1 teaches you how to be patient and think before you leap with cool but tricky platform segments. That, plus the art and music direction it takes, is why it's fun as fuck.
