Literally just a scam artist company. Anyone still giving money to them has brain damage. Severe brain damage.

Update: Apparently a Ubisoft employee has now said on Reddit that post-launch support has not ended. Though it’s not clear when this issue will be resolved.
To be fair still, this shouldn't even be an issue that needs to be fixed anyway. Guess that's what happens when you farm out the work to Digital Eclipse.

Be honest, how much has anybody here contributed to Ubisoft? I'm talking buying their games whether new or online.
Only for Rayman.
  • Rayman 1 (Saturn/DSi)
  • Rayman GBC (VC app on 3DS)
  • Rayman Rush (watered-down PS1 port of Rayman Arena/M)
  • Rayman 2 (N64/3DS)
  • Rayman Origins (3DS)
  • Raving Rabbids PS2
  • Rabbids Travel In Time (half-decent platformer on the 3DS)
I've also played Jungle/Fiesta run, but I pirated those (autorunner/platform hybrid, O.K. as a time-killer). I remember them being a pain in the ass to pirate too because you needed some other file to spoof the checker that was build into the app.

This shit makes me want to fedpost. Abominable.
The reason why the new music sucks ao much is because they got Christophe Héral, the guy who composed the UbiArt Rayman games, which sufficed to say UbiArt Rayman music in the FIRST RAYMAN GAME doesn't fit at all. Its not like the music was right there and owned by Ubisoft.

Wait so all the tracks are completely new, on top of being worse? I thought it was the same OST but re-arranged by a different composer.

Why would Ubisoft choose to do something that would cost more money and only make the game worse. What is wrong with these people.

Reminds me of Sega and the Sonic Origins Collection fiasco regarding Sonic 3's music. They used the PC Collection version for 3 specific stages but rather than take the arrangements from the Sonic 3 Beta ( which sound 100x better IMO ) they instead """"fixed""" the MIDI versions from PC Collection and shoved it into the game. Needless to say, everyone was pissed they couldn't jam out to Ice Cap Zone anymore.

My favourite Sonic-related music fuck up is that DS RPG where they lost all the audio files just before the game went gold and had to grab random Sonic MIDIs off the Internet.
Keen-eared autists among us may recognise this as the Diamond Dust Zone theme from Sonic 3D, which managed to sound better on the Genesis than the previous abomination did 10 years later.

I'm the odd guy who thought the PC versions were perfectly fine (in part due to how I grew up with the S3&K PC version rather than the Genesis one), but they really butchered it compared to even how the original PC version sounded like, never mind the Beta which were infinitely superior.

Anyone playing Division 2 at this point? Was considering trying to grind out the current season to try and grab a Ravenous from the caches, since I highly doubt I'll be able to do Iron Horse; thoughts?

I do, although barely these days. I think this week is the first time I've played properly since before xmas, and now I'm done with the stupid Climax mission I'll probably disappear for another couple of weeks til the anniversary mini-season starts.

Depends, do you want anything else from Stretch goals? Your odds of getting a Rav are something like 0.05% from the normal stretch goals cache, or 0.25% from the prestige one. As someone who also wants a Rav, I find really trying to farm it not worth it. Personally I'm waiting and hoping they run a more generous event, similar to the xmas one instead (that didn't offer Rav, but it had great odds for the others like Regulus/EB/Ouro)

I do. I couldn't finish the final mission of the season because it's bugged.
I got hit with the double whammy on the boss. Not only did the water cannons bug out so we couldn't remove his insane damage reduction, the ammo crate in the room bugged as well so we couldn't restock. Took us like 30+ mins just to finish that fight, and by the end I was having to constantly swap between weapons as they slowly regenned ammo with Gunner. Good job my main character is a packrat with a bunch of Expertise 30 guns, without that I'd probably have ragequit.

The Stretch Goals seem to be better this time now that they allow you to use the textiles to level up.
Sort of. The textile thing is nice for the people who have 15k of them spare. However I'd argue that's somewhat counteracted by the manhunt scouts (which are normally a great source of quick seasonal xp if saved) being absolute fucking ass cancer this time round. Seriously, adding a bunch of hostage rescues/supply drops etc when they know those things spawn so infrequently they had to be removed from the Priority Objectives rotation, is a dick move.

I'm mostly just grinding for Exotics in general, really; the Ravenous is truthfully the "main" one that I want, but I'm willing to grab any new Exotic at this point. I like to collect them, fill out the gun racks, you know.

I will say, it's pretty dickish to make the Ravenous so consistently difficult to get; outside of rare events like this, the only ways to unlock it are either the Dark Zone (which is crammed full of sweaty PVP nerds) or doing the Iron Horse raid (which I can't do, as I can't get a group, build, or the required time together). Even then, the drop rate for it in either of those two modes is ridiculously low, which makes getting the damn gun just outright artificially difficult.

In that case stretch goals should be great for you so go nuts. You may also want to look into Retaliations to get the blueprints for crafting some of the newer ones. IIRC that's the only way to get some of the ones from the last few seasons s they don't appear to be going into the general lootpool the way they used to.

The entire thing is dickish tbh. Look at lex/Turmoil. They were given out for free to people just for logging in, and then when people who missed them were begging for them instead of simply handing them out again they put them in the Stretch goals but then deliberately diluted the loot pool with absolute shit. I mean putting in stuff like the Hunter items was bad enough, but putting in the meme christmas items and shit was just outright taking the piss IMO.

It's the worst kind of FOMO bullshit, made worse by the fact they clearly don't need to do it. The Krampus event was far more generous with it's rewards and yet clearly still got massive engagement from the player base given we smashed the donate 1 million keys goal in a couple of days.

Never done Retaliations before; might give those a shot soon.

Only level 8 on this season right now; here's hoping I can make some good enough progress.

It's especially bad, since the Lexington AR is one of the meta gear pieces now; anyone that missed it is now lagging behind - rather severely, I might add - thanks to how they "balance" this game. I could see them making getting the gear a challenge for the sake of longevity and player engagement, but this? It's just artificial padding that does nothing but turn most sane people away.

They have added a limit to the number of levels you can buy with the textiles. No fun allowed.
Also fuck them for that exotic cache that only gives you one (1) exotic component.

At least for the supply drops you just need to take control of a district. I got stuck a couple of times because the target practice or the hostage rescue objective wouldn't spawn.

Most of the way through the Scout missions, only level 37 this season so far; not sure I'll be able to reach level 100 by the time this season ends. This game is legit pissing me off at this point; I'm using a Striker build that was recommended to me by the Discord, and I keep dying to basically everything, even on the easier difficulties. Not sure whether I should be using Global Directives and/or higher difficulties for leveling, either; easier shit is less EXP, but higher level shit is forcing me to party up just to get anything done.

All I want to do is just to get the stupid Ravenous so I can ditch this Striker build; in all honesty, I'd love to just wander around D.C. with a couple of fun builds I have in mind, but I'm stuck with this build until I get the one gun I want to get.

EDIT: Now I'm level 39, stuck on Week 10 waiting for a Hostage Rescue event to spawn in Federal Triangle. Yay.

EDIT 2: Just completed the Anderson Manhunt; now I'm level 47. So... what should I do now?

EDIT 3: Priority Objective Strongholds/Missions it is, then; need to find a good difficulty/directive set for this, but... at least it's not waiting for Hostage Rescue events...
