From the line styles and the uncanny valley-ness, I'm pretty sure he's tracing real photos in Adobe Illustrator or some other vector program. Which means he might be tracing the sexual comics from porn...? Don't know where he finds the drowning-baby pictures, though.

There have been a couple of those "What were you saying?" ones, they're some of my favorite. I think mostly because of the stilted English, though.

Whether or not it's a new problem or something going on is up for debate. Nigeria's media is getting far more widespread, so these things are coming more into the light. I can tell I saw a lot of revenge fantasy stories over there, so the car burning one makes sense.
