I have a friend who is in his late 20s and has told me that he does not want to ever get married. Never has and never will. He is one of the smartest people i know/prays 5x a day/ chaste/never drank or smoke and generally stays to himself. As well as being righteous he makes well over three hundred grand a year in his business and does massive amounts of charity. He said that he doesn't trust women and is weary of divorce laws. He's also mentioned that he will only ever marry a chaste/virgin and people that fit his standards are almost impossible to find nowadays. He agrees not all women are like that but he wont take that chance. How can i convince him that marriage is half of his faith. He is chaste himself and in a perfect position to provide for a wife and family and him not doing so seems like a waste of such a good man.

I honestly love the USA a lot, and have no hatred towards the west.
Many of my people feel the same too, and our government openly opposes any type of terrorism.
Jews are cool, I don't feel any hatred towards them.
Shia are cool too, I have a lot of Shia friends.
As for djinn, there are certain superstitions people have about spirits, but I'm rather neutral about it, and don't believe in witchcraft, the same goes to my countrymen.
In short: we're a more developed, open-minded country unlike some of our neighbors. Saudi Arabia is improving though, they just legalized driving for women.

1) It's true that Kuwait is the most pro-USA country in the region (considering the first Gulf War, not a surprise) but slightly less than half of your country men don't share yours
2) According to Pew, the ADL and other orgs, at least 80% of Kuwaitis are anti-semites
3) It's true that Shias are well treated for the most part in Kuwait but they still are not treated equally and some of their rituals are forbidden like on Ashura
4) You are way downplaying the belief in witchcraft from your country man. A few months ago a maid was killed because her employers thought she was a witch, women are arrested and interrogated on accusations of witchcraft and even the Ministry of Interior came out a few years ago saying there were a couple thousand Jewish witches in Kuwait working their black magic against Kuwaitis.

Muslims are currently getting a lot of hate here in the US, and the climate towards Muslims right now, partly driven by propaganda from our side, partly driven by extremist reminds me of the McCarthyism of the 50's. Most rational people here accept that it's not Islam that is the problem, but extremism. However, not everyone here is completely rational.

What are your thoughts on the path America is taking towards the way Muslims are in the US?

Do they? In terms of being the victims of actual hate crimes, they rank wayyy below almost everyone else. I keep hearing this 'ISLAMOPHOBIA' and how precarious the situation is in America for them but it just doesn't translate in actual cold hard facts, just feels from liberals.

We have some bad eggs in the country, but overall I believe we can improve. As for Shia, when ISIS bombed a Shia mosque last year, we Sunna and Shia banded together against this catastrophe, and our government caught and executed those ISIS terrorists who were involved. On the subject of Jews, I do not share that sentiment, and those who do don't understand what really went on between Israel and Palestine, that the UK unintentionally instigated it. As for the view on America, people are improving and more people here are traveling there to either study in universities or for tourism. We're doing a lot better than some people in the Middle East, trust me on this.

I think some Americans just haven't seen that many of us are ordinary people like you and I. Catastrophic events like 9/11 are a very touchy and emotional subject for many, even I send my regards to those whose relatives died during that horrible day, but I believe people need to understand that there are horrible people everywhere, and there's no need for black-and-white thinking such as demonizing an entire populace of people. Lots of horrible events happened in history, such as the genocide of Native Americans, bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, hell, even the Holocaust. But we shouldn't blame the perpetrators' entire countries, ethnic groups or members of religion for it. If the Japanese and Germans have been forgiven for their countries' crimes, than I believe with time, we can show them what Islam is truly all about.

I don't think @Internet War Criminal is intending to blanket your people under the terrorist idea, but he's just pointing out that unfortunately some of them aren't quite as awesome as you appear to hope they are.
