Pistols are an odd weapon choice. Really niche. Just wait until you can upgrade leather armor.

The first game was too meh for me to try the second.

What the hell do I do against Locusts in the Black Sea? I hate these things. I have killed every native savage through a judicious use of gas grenades, napalm, and a .44 loaded with explosive rounds. Genocide is great.

If they penerate your armor you get a parasitic infection which causes bio damage. I think you get bio damage regardless if they penerate. So either:
  • do the protectorate questline until the chemical assault unit and get their bio/acid armor (really good against locusts)
  • loot around the sea and get bio protection boots and top them off with the helmet from praetorian security
  • craft a bio resistant armor
  • loot a bio resistant armor or boots/helmet/hat combo

You can loot bio-res armour easy in the DLC alone, iirc, no need to go back to the other parts of the game for it. (Boots, I think?) Worth it over whatever you may be using imo.

Surprised I found this thread so late, speaking of threads:
I know it's plebbit and you shouldn't expect anything productive but fucking kek. The CRPG plebbit is infested with BG3 fags. If you're going to be pissy about Underrail you can be pissy about the occasional arbitrary changes done out of spite, mostly relating to cheats (he got upset that people kept circumventing his "anti-console" scripts so he removed it entirely, even adding scripts that fuck with cheat engine in some way). Or the strange way he codes that makes it hard as fuck to mod, assuming he lets you mod it in the first place. It seems he's autistically strict on people who mess with his game. The source code is esoteric and obfuscated so even if you understood the source, you now have to go around that shit.

Temporal manipulation crossbow build slash traps slash sneak step one sneak around lay a bunch of land mines and traps Step 2 hide in the corner step three shoot a bunch of crossbows at them for some reason they never added explosive bolts for some reason******* Serbian monkeys.
First build was a guy who used pistols and a 45 realize the 45 ammo it's really hard to find in the early game

unlike Todd Howard they created a game that doesn't need mods to be good also there was a small studio so it makes sense that they don't want a lot of mods stealing their potential customers for the DLC understandable.

Nigger you already have like 45.Cal explosive bullets, adding explosive arrows with already existing mines and explosive weapons are overkill.

Jk PSY builds are deceptively hard especially because if you want to be good at one thing you sacrifice another. Temporal manipulation is badass both lore and gameplay wise. It's less flashy then other skills and can make a sick build out of it.

Try melee/cond/str/will with temporal next time, trust.

The implication that you can slow aging has massive other ones. Granted, a form of biological immortality already exists in setting. A pure psion is an undisputed divinity in human form. The fabric of reality is but dense clay to their will

i was enjoying that game until i found out i built my character the wrong way because there was a forced bossfight that was a hard counter to my build. i couldnt grind out levels to beat it either since i had already done everything else so i just stopped playing. i really hate rpgs that give you the illusion of choice and then force a particular build

Does anybody else just reset the game every 5 minutes because you get frustrated with your ability like I don't like it anymore maybe it's just a me thing but every time I'm playing I'm like damn wish I did something differently I'm gonna go back and change it because of this I've only ever gotten halfway through the game.

Also the discord is filled with people bullying transgenders which is hilarious you should always bully transgenders

I need more ways of exploding people's faces with explosives if you're going to have flaming bolts and acid bolts why don't you have explosive bolts.
