Oh yeah, apparently the names for the tracks on the OST were leaked since the music label revealed them early or something.

I wonder if that is all of them. Seems kinda light for 2 chapters.

Only a few things stand out to me. Seems there's going to be a western set in chapter 3. There is a Mike. I was 99% sure chapter 4 was going to be the church world with the trailer, now I'm 100% with songs like Hymn and Hammer of Justice. Nothing really sticks out to me as secret bosses though

It's real. You can't add shit to ASCAP willynilly, otherwise there'd be a lot of lawsuits over royalties.

It's worth noting that Ch2's OST is very bloated with Ch1 tracks being included as duplicates and with the several 4 second long Sweet Cap'n Cakes joke tracks. 3+4 is pretty on par ignoring the duplicate songs.

It's really not. Here's a list from the ost I normally listen to.

The things that strikes me weird is
Toby in chapter 1 and 2 had a habit of naming a character's main song just their name (Berdly, Queen, Lancer, Spamton, etc). I'm really not seeing a "Tenna" or anything like it in the leak. Not for any character really unless you get weird character names like Catswing or Hymn. Although I do have a theory now that that either the main villian or the secret boss in chapter 4 will be named Cricket, especially with that 'C' song and the Cricket's Crumbling Tower. I'm thinking 90% main villain though.

A new newsletter just dropped. Just the below art, telling people it'll be a few days before you can purchase the soundtrack on steam, where it's recommended since it can be updated with new chapters, and giving tips on avoiding spoilers. I'm about to go to bed with my alarm set 10 mins before.

I'm 99% sure that Black Knife is going to be a Secret boss track after hearing it. Probably the chapter 3 flower boss if that theory turns out to be true. I've also heard napstablook and mettaton's songs mixed into some of the tracks, so theory that napstablook and hapstablook will get sucked into the world is only strengthen. Burning eyes is probably the other secret boss song if I had to guess.

I have to say, having replayed chapter 1 and 2 in preparation for chapter 3+4, I've come to disagree with this video even more than before, specifically regarding his takes on Susie.

Massive fuck off wall of text down here so I've spoilered it, if you want the TLDR: Susie putting on a Facade was very obvious and I think the only way you'd miss it is if you skipped most of the dialogue. It's also just a copy-paste of my own comment on the video so if some of the wording sounds weird then that's why.

You see, you say that it would have been better for Susie's personality to be built up over the course of the entire game, however upon replaying chapter 1, it's clear that one of the main goals of that chapter WAS to build her character up to the point where she is in chapter 2. You say that Susie isn't wearing a facade yet it's so clearly obvious that she is throughout the entire chapter thanks to her interactions with Lancer. At the start of the chapter, she treats him like any other random person she doesn't know, but as he actually starts to warm up to her throughout the chapter, you see the act slowly break down. Sure, you can argue that it's just her character developing, and you'd be right, but not in the way you'd think. She tried to re-solidify the facade multiple times throughout chapter 1, denying that she's happy to finally be apart of a team only to quietly respond with a "maybe" shortly after. When she thinks that Lancer betrays her, you see her way of speaking go back to how it was at the BEGGINING of chapter 1, back when the facade was unbroken, it's short, to the point, and aggressive, just like the start of the game. She doesn't follow through with killing Lancer just because he was her friend, she doesn't follow through with it because she never intended to.

She drops Kris at the start of chapter 1 right before she does it, she takes a noticable pause to laugh that she didn't do before right before she would have done it with Lancer, meaning that it was most likely to intimidate him into running away, and the moment she actually gets the chance, a justifiable chance to actually follow through on her words, she falters, because she never intended to follow through with them nor wanted to get into a situation where she actually had to. So I find you saying "In chapter 1 she'd just kill you" to be an incredibly bad read of her character. She's prone to violence, not prone to murder. She's rough for sure, and not afraid to get into fights, but she obviously exaggerates both of those factors to a cartoonish degree to keep herself safe from people she doesn't trust, That's the facade, an exaggeration, not a complete fabrication, even Monster Kid says he's never seen her get into a fight, so she can't be starting fights or doing physical stuff like she did to stuff often.

So, logically, once she's with a group she trusts, even if she's in hostile territory, she doesn't put on the act again, because she feels safe with them. she places her trust directly in your hands, something that was clearly difficult to do considering how much she stutters or pauses before giving it to you, and you saving her from the king, who is basically what Susies facade would look like if it wasn't one, was the push she needed to truly trust you and call you a friend. This is made evident by the fact that this is the first time we see her talking sprite with her hair up, it's what the entire chapter lead up to. Her talk about leaving your guard up all the time is further proof that it's an act, her "guard", being the facade, the act. You say she retained nothing about her character from chapter 1 but she's still cocky, willing to mock and make fun of others, ready to fight and easy to anger. She still loves bantering with Lancer and she still mocks Ralsei, She's still the same, she's just not closed off anymore, and she has no reason to be. I understand wanting it to be built up over the course of the game, but frankly I think Toby did a really good job with putting it all into a single chapter. She still has the same overall behavior, it's just that her attitude changed because she had no reason to keep the closed off defensive attitude around.

There was also a comment saying that Toby can't write interesting male characters that are cool and stay cool without emasculating them or turning them into a butt of a joke, which is very funny considering most of Toby's best characters are male, Sans, Papyrus, Asgore, Flowey/Asriel, fuck even Spamton and Jevil are right there in the same game. Just because Asgore became a soft dad type in DR doesn't mean he's suddenly not cool, he was one of the most compelling characters in UnderTale due to how he handled both himself and his kingdom after Asriels death.

Alright, Mega autism over.

Nothing to do with Wintergun or Deltatroon, but a song I was listening while I came by to the thread:

It's up.

Deltarune is out, you can buy it on Steam:

Funny how the face we see in the darkness is on a body that looks like the Endogeny in a way. Wonder if that's going to be Mike.
